Wonderful story there Sis and I really like where you have inserted websites we can go to and learn more about what you are writing about. Looking forward to more.

Great Beginning!!!
I also like the added websites. It really speaks to me about the importance of
making sure our young ones have some kind of reaction training for possible emerg. situations.
Looking forward to more.

Hi. I like the beginning...and I really appreciate the refrences. One small request...My eyes are not the best anymore; any chance you could have it in black print? or something darker than what it is. Thanks. Waiting for more.... hummer

Great story, so far. A little oops: Sis & Thomas are at her place (Ch5), when an aftershock hits in the early AM. All of a sudden, "Keith" shows up, screams "Ahh!" and disappears again!

(I know, you warned us about name changes  , but I figgered you'd appreciate a heads-up.)

Also, the section that starts Chapter 6-7 belongs further down at "Note to reader".

Not nit-picking -- it's a great story -- just want to make it "betterer" :D

Problems with Postings of Story

Hi, I tried to add all 21 chapters into one thread and could not due to an error message saying no more than 60,000 characters can be used. So I tried to repiece it together. Sorry about the name snafus. After writing the story I realized that I had used a couple of real names of folks I know and I was trying to go back and make the changes. Oh well... I missed a few. Now it is up to you to figure out what name is reall

I really enjoy writing the story and hopefully will conclude part one soon and then begin posting part two.

I tell ya, this writing thing is an addiction after a while. :eleph:

I appreciate your comments and hopefully I can edit and clean up the posts sometime soon. Take care and God bless, Sis

Hi Sis,

I've read both and I like this version MUCH better. Unfortunately both of the stories have stopped in about the same place! To quote Oliver: "More Please".

BTW, I'm originally from Blocksburg, CA (Humboldt County), I left in '58 but still have family there.

Keep up the good work!
