It's a good start! PLEASE -- don't quit in the middle as so many stories I've seen on the web. Know how it's gonna end, at least -- that'll help you get there.

Again, good work!

Wow!

Great job!
You do promise to keep feeding it ;)

Cool use of concept of the clan / family based multigenerational warriors.

I will not quit, I can promise that much.

As for how long it takes to do book 1. Well, that will take a while. School and life eat up a lot of time.

And I do have a end for book1. :groucho:

There will not be anymore chapters for a while. I no longer have access to a computer that allowed me to download to the internet. I'm sorry about this as I am still writing chapters for this.

Once comcast has thier sale again, I'll post the chapters I have written.

Sorry!:(

I am now able to post my stories once again. The county libaray will let me do it. But I can only get thier once a month, so I will be doing a chapter or two ever month.

Thanks and enjoy!;)

Wow, Great job.

I got to the end of the page and nearly cried -- there was no more to be had!
Looking forward to more.

Are you having ISP problems?
Worst case, you can do AOL via a prepaid account.
Next time your in the library, surf www.joi.net and www.netscape.com for some el-cheapo accounts.

I am enjoying this. It is neat to have had a peek at the end then rewind back to the beginning. We can watch it unfold with an eye to the end game. The more I think about the Clan concept the more I like it.

Thanks for the kind words!

I don't have an ISP problem, I just have no money for a internet hookup!:p

It may be a while before the next chapters, I'm going to spend the summer up at my retreat. I'll be finishing my Medical transcriptisnt schooling, which is 8 hours, 5 days a week typing!

I try and post as soon as I can again!

Good story,good plot.

Looking forward to it unfolding.

Plus Im only a hoot and a holler away from the Thumb myself.

Im just South of Flint and so many of the names of towns, etc are so familiar!

One thing, are you talking about Caro..........or is there a small town known as Cairo?

Other than this little silly thing, Im really enjoying your story.

thank you very much - but what a cliffhanger and the new rules are terrible - hate to think rules like that would really be enforced - not a good thought - glad the two families will be together

Nice work!
Nice twists and turns, and yet another set of cliff hangers. ;)
---> maybe we should call the member's stories - the cliff hanger club

I wonder what sort of trojan horse we have here?

Well, if I wrote; " Max, finding the LDS food stepped out of the trailer and mowed down the lot of grinning fools with his M1A.", I think people would get bored with those types of endings.:screw: ;)

As for the typo, I wish that the edit features here in this forum, would be left on. When I spot a mistake or someone like you, it's usually too late. The edit option has turned off.:bwl:

That's way, when I'm done with this story, I have an edit version later.;)

Thanks for the kind words!;)

Wolf:

WRT: the plot - We love the cliff hangers! It's just the duration between the next dose of story that we're bemoaning. PLEASE don't take anything I write personally as a critisism! I know I speak for many other folks, we love these stries. I even have a bit of envy that you, Allan, Tom and OddOne and CanandaSue [just to rattle off a few] can put more than 3 word together in a coherent and complete thought! Not to Pick on Tom or Allan: it was 'painful' waiting for the next chapters to be posted, it's not like they had anything important to do the real 'meat' world -- They didn;t feed us, their cyber family, fast enough.

Maybe an Admin can extend your time. I really do hate the edit timing out so soon, but there is a very valid reason it is "short" -- Trolls have changed their posts after they fired up a spat, then went back and edited it to make themselves look innocent.

I post the grammorhs & speeling errurs, as a NOTHING more than to show my appreciation and a hope it is recieved as a partial payment until you publish the book! While I can't write a story, but I can edit.

I'll look into to some of the small run publication options.

Oh, I don't. I hope you didn't think I was serious about what I wrote. It was just a joke.

I don't mind people pointing out where there are mistakes. The better writer's even make mistakes. I have seen even a couple that tsherry has made!:shkr:

This story will never be a book, the creator's of BattleTech would sue my butt!

Clan Wolf and the parts about it are theirs. So SRR and We lost will never be a book. I just write these stories for the pleasure it brings me.:D

I like this latest twist. This is why it blows my mind that people post so much info about their preps on the web. You are not anonymous. Loose lips sink ships. Also why are LDS goods a bad thing? I have LDS preps and am not LDS. A friend who is Mormon gets them for me. The cannery knows I am not LDS. The boxes come with my last name and "non-member" written on them. I imagine my order is probably the last one processed.

Showing your preps I still think isn't that big of a deal as long as you don't make the mistake Max made of giving his address. I now, only sell things on boards where I use a totally diffrent name & don't talk about survival.

As for the LDS food, it's still a very rare thing for non-LDS survivalists to have. I've been doing this survivalist bit for over 25yrs and I have never met one person who had this type of canned food.

I know a few on the internet that do, but I'll bet it less than 2% of all survivalists.

Plus other things were making Max uneasy about the Geeks.
