I've experienced many difficulties in registering and then in logging in. But it seems that everything is working now. I'm still confused about how this board works, though. I'm interested in a few of the topics listed above....ECON, FARM, FOOD, etc. I hope I'll be able to access those topics withourt further hassle. Thanks. MM

Well Green Co....you have an obedient daughter! I'm sure that you are proud to have her on the same board. Blessings to you and your hotshot company! ;)
LJB..do you work with your Dad at all? He has a very interesting and challenging line of work!:)

I don't work with my dad. I love my dad and all but come on, you've seen him on the boards....would YOU want to work with him????LOL I do love him though. I guess I had better stop there. He'd probable hate to see such "mush" about him on his board (well, his before mine anyways).

LJB.. I am a newbie here and am just beginning to become familiar with some of the members...Guess I will have to look up some of your Dad's posts to see what you are talking about... :lol:
Anyways, I just wanted to help break the ice and encourage you to post! I think it's kinda neat to have family members on the same board.. :D Besides I don't think he'd mind you saying nice things about him at all.. ;) I don't have a mom or dad and haven't for many years so it's a real blessing to see this..

Hello everyone! I'm a 40 something woman who lives just south of Atlanta, GA. Been a prepper for a few yrs. Everyone who knows thinks I'm one fry short a Happy Meal...but whatever! Even my siblings give me a hard time about my emergency 'potty'-When I mentioned this site they said, "I hope it's not one of those skin head sites!" :lkick: But anyway, I'm enjoying the company of like minded folks!

I've been lurking around here for a couple of months and just starting noticing the check in thread. :D Oy and then I see it's required, Oy. :D

I find this site extremely informative and have printed off more things and sent more links to others from this site than any other site ever! (Well, since I started using the internet in the late 80's with Listserv.)

Thank you so much for coming together and being such a nice community. It's comfortable here and I think I'll stay for awhile.

I have been reading articles here for several years and have found it a wonderful resource for so many things. Feels like what early discussion must have been like before the American Revolution. A real sense of family too. Glad to be here.
