USA Woman claims being fired from job for being "too hot"

Regardless of what some of you think, she is definitely going to win this one. It's just outrageous.
mzkitty, this is one time I agree with you.
The dresses she bought to wear were entirely appropriate. As mskitty says, that is pretty much a standard look and talk for New York city.
By the way Gloria Allred makes her living taking cases like this.
For a place that sells thongs to get bent out of shape by this girl working there is stupid.
With Allred for her attorney, she will end up owning the place and the people who fired her might not like their new boss.

To the people so critical of her all I can say is you should lighten up. Go stand in front of a full length mirror or post your picture online so a bunch of online couch potatoes can critique it. Jeesh.

There was nothing inappropriate about her clothes. In fact, they were more modest than plenty of things I see people wear these days. She has a large chest (its not really relevant if it is real or not) and the dresses shown were all crew neck, no cleavage at all.

I give up.
Yes, Orthodox Jews who sell skimpy lingerie:

I have worked with/for two different groups of Orthodox Jews. The hypocrisy does not surprise me. My hunch is that someone's wife saw her and wanted her out.

Maybe. We don't know. I will say that one of the, if not THE, creepiest job interview I ever had was quite a few years ago now, by an Ortho Jew who owned a small business in my neighborhood. He said he worked Sundays and to come in for an interview. When I got there, I was alone with him. He kept hemming and hawing and staring at me, without ever really getting to what the job entailed. I got spooked and left.

Just wondering, but did you find that job advertised on Craigslist?

I once went to an interview advertised on Craigslist for a spotter job installing yard sheds, which seemed ok, but my gut feeling was the owner was a player looking for sex. It was a huge clue when he asked about me being married and if my husband minded me taking the job??? A few weeks later I saw a group of women posting about the job. They said they were getting together to take him to court for sexual harrassment because that was why he was hiring women.

And as for the girl in the OP, I couldn't watch the video and don't know if she called herself hot or not, but that's not the point at all.

The point is how the company treated her and they were definitely out of line!

And if they asked me to tape my boobs down I'd tell them to stop being a perv and to stop looking there!

I think it was in our regular Sunday want ads, but now I couldn't tell you for sure. It wasn't CL because I don't use that. It was at least 10 years ago. I don't think one of my agencies would have sent me there.
