Arm both sides to kill each other off. Wars are done this way. The coming Civil War will be the same.
They can stock all the bullets they want. They don’t have the manpower to succeed.
That takes alot of bullets, brass, primers and powder out of the market.
There was someone on the Tree that actually said that the amount was what would normaly
be used for target practice in a year, well it is nice to know you can afford hollow points for target practice.
And another one from left field would be ...
All of these agencies are technically the .gov and while they each have separate budgets they are run under a single umbrella once you get far enough up the ladder. There is NOTHING that would prevent them from stockpiling for and then transferring the ammo to another agency at some point in the future. There is also NOTHING that would prevent those storage buildings from being turned into space for some other .gov agency to operate out of.
For all we know DHS could be mandating that various agencies with large budgets bank roll a "sub station" that they will then take over if/when necessary.
There was someone on the Tree that actually said that the amount was what would normaly
be used for target practice in a year and there was nothing to worry about, well it is nice to know you can afford hollow points for target practice.
With all the Ammo Purchases...the Military Doing Police Training...and the Sudden Resignation of Members of Congress...it Makes me Think of the Movie...DEEP IMPACT!
1. It's not their money, so . . . (shrug)
2. Some weapons that run ball ammo well will choke on hollowpoints -- so you have to test weapon and duty/carry ammo together before you rely on them.
Who resigned?
It is fast approaching the start of a new fiscal year. The contracts are either using up the last of this years funds or being put in place for the start of the new year.
I can see 4 possible scenarios:
1) Get the ammo in shorter supply and at a higher cost for the civilians, which has already been mentioned.
2) Arm a civilian national security force, which also has been mentioned.
3) Anticipation of unrest at the DNC and RNC conventions.
4) Anticipation of civil unrest after the Nov election, whether O gets elected or not.
Maybe its a part of the civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded that will be used to 'spread the wealth'?
I think maybe this is the ultimate agenda.
I want to put something out here that has probably not occurred to any of you and that has only recently occurred to me after somewhat getting involved within this community of the younger demographic. I recently started playing a xbox game with my children called mw3 (call of duty, modern warfare 3). At first like any parent I pretty much sucked. I'm in my early 30's and the people who play this game are basically my age and on down into the teens. It took me some time but I have actually become extremely good at this game. I don't really even play or enjoy playing video games, nor do I have the time. But this game is different since it is highly competitive and you play it online against other people.
There are several million people in the U.S. alone that play this game. The virtual warfare, the realism, the tactics used are like a virtual military bootcamp. I personally believe if the gov. put guns in the hands of many of these gamers, they would be able to tactically smoke 95% of everyone on this board, easily. I understand many of you will not believe that statement, but I think its 100% accurate.
Personally, if there is a war coming I would do everything in my power to sit it out. I don't want to be involved in a war, any war. If it so happened to show up at my house, it would be in for a very harsh surprise.
I would disagree mainly because as complex as MW3 is, it's still a game. The "world" is idealized and the reactions of the non-player elements are limited. As an example, I give a commercial from several years ago now, showing a group of teens not unlike those you describe playing a similar game against other opponents. These teens had two-way communication, a well-planned assault for their objective, and a good distribution of character types. And then they met the opposing force, or rather, the entered the area the opposing force controlled, and suddenly their team was dying left and right, and their communications rapidly devolved into panicked clamor. After the teens had been wiped out, their opponents were revealed to be an actual Army fireteam playing from their tents overseas.
MW3, as with most MMORPG combat games, is still relatively easily deconstructed into an algorithm of character A + character B + 3x character C = victory for small raids etc. Real tactics involves actual movement through unpredictable terrain. Even playing against other live players, the "battles" and tactics are still limited severely by the way the characters behave and the limitations of the "world". Those limits are very different in real life, and when it's you carrying the rifle, it's a very different prospect from when your idealized super-soldier character who can run literally for hours without stopping is carrying.
I think maybe this is the ultimate agenda.
