WTF?!? Is It Any Wonder?

I do live south of the Canadian border and don't see much of this in my local Walmart. Yes, there are obese people in the store from time to time, but not like the overtly obese as you see in these photos...certainly no transvestites....that must be California.

Yea these Trannies flock to Calif from all over the country, cause they think it's ok here. We don't like that shit anymore than you do {except for SF). So Californians would me more than happy if they all went back to where they came from, so Milk how many of your former homies are you willing to take back?

It is said that what make us weep is the truth about us, whether we know it, or like it, or not, and the same is true of what we instinctively laugh at.

After reading (and viewing) this thread yesterday, I couldn't get it off my mind; it disturbed me, and it still does.

If we are worried about the fact (?) that people elsewhere don't respect Americans, and I'm assuming that refers to all North Americans, I sincerely doubt that it's because a few overweight people don't have enough self respect to dress modestly.

I find more cause for shame on our part in that not one of us asked why those people (yes, they're people) are morbidly obese and so obviously lacking any knowledge of social propriety.

It is difficult to believe that anyone would choose to commit slow suicide and endure a severely limited and diminished quality of life, so... what went wrong in their lives? What is wrong in their lives and why aren't we helping instead of laughing?

Perhaps outrageous 'fashion' statements are the only way the desperate have to say, "I'm here and I matter." Or perhaps they have no hope or joy in their lives and simply don't care anymore - who knows? I don't, and you don't, but why don't we know? Why don't we who know better care?

We're failing to 'Love thy neighbor,' ladies and gentlemen, and in so doing we're failing to love God.

If Americans have lost the respect of the rest of the world then I should think it's because we're guilty of neglecting (failing to love) the weak, the desperate, and the needy amongst us. Many of these people may only need a kind word or two, or someone to listen, or a sincere smile.

How would you view (judge) these people if you were blind? Would you listen for a hint of kindness in their voices? A trace of sadness or despair? Would it matter to you if the person who let you skip ahead of them at the checkout were overweight and/or dressed outrageously?

If all we can see is the outer shell then I submit that we are blind by choice, and for that we should all be ashamed.

I'm reminded of Moses who stepped out of the palace and did not notice the splendor of Egypt, but rather the suffering of his people. And also of the two brothers walking down the road and seeing an unwashed child ravenously devouring a wedge of stale bread. One of the brothers noticed the bread; the other one saw the hunger....

No wonder indeed. :(

Beth. That is the most beautiful post I have ever read on TB2K. Thank you, thank you. This post brings tears to my eyes. What you have said is so very, very true and sad. Spirits need love, as much as souls. I feel ashamed.

Thank you.

I have no idea how to respond to your post. Perhaps it is enough to know that the truth resonates in all human hearts, and what a gift it is that we may learn and weep together.

Nothing I said was an original thought, so all thanks belongs to The Giver.

Love,

Beth.

Beth, the post isn't about 'Morbidly Obese' people. The video is about 'Adults' who choose by their God given right of 'Free Will' to go out in public in their Panties,Jocks, etc. showing their asses in a Store that is visited by other people.

As for feeling like 'weeping' for these people...Really?...Weep???

People do actually Choose to commit 'slow suicide' every time they force feed themselves 4 Big-Macs,chug that Liquor, Smoke that Crack, etc. and UNTIL, they themselves Choose to HELP Themselves, All the crying in the world will NOT help these types.

When I see 'Adults' who choose to shit in their Van in a Public Parking area of a store, I do not feel the need to weep for them. I feel the need to jerk that sorry POS up by His fat ass and slam Him back inside of it. He chose to do this, out of disrespect for ALL people. I know His Mother taught Him better and I know at one time ALL of these Fools were taught at some point how to dress appropriately for public display.

These types LOVE the attention that they are getting, so NO they don't need your tears.

I know this well working with people who are addicted. Feeling sorry for them and weeping for them, will NEVER get them 'Better'. It is a 'personal' choice one MUST make to get better. And these folks look happy as can be. They are Shopping, spending money, probably on My dime and Yours, so NO, I will not weep for these very able bodied people.

I will however weep for those Children who are being sold into the 'sex trade'. I will weep for the Children who see their parents being killed in the Wars that are started by War Mongers. I will weep for the Parents of Murdered Children, slaughtered while sleeping in their own homes. I will weep for the Hungry of this Nation and all other Nations.

I won't drag this out too much, but Your SIG line actually sums this all up to the fact that the people in this video are the ones who do not know that a Parade is going on,by 'Choice'.
