Where he was:

...he lives at the xxxxxxxxxxx near Tombstone/St. David AZ, which has an RV Park attached to it..... he has been there since 1999.

What happened to him:

[One of our board members] finally got an ID on Synap - and such bad news..... he passed away early this year.....

Jerry Coleman was our "Synap".

More details as I get them.

Synap - Jerry - Thank you for being a member of our community (member ID # 12). May you rest safely and peacefully in God's arms. You'll be sorely missed.....

EDIT: Please see post 60 for more information on him.

Just damn. We've lost another one.

I always appreciated his level-headed posts and will miss him...

RIP, "GIGO filter"....

Oh dear! So sorry. Does he have family, anyone we could at least send a card to?

Seems like it might be a good idea to exchange personal information with some other members who have been here a long time. One or two people in my area have my telephone number and I would hope they would inquire if I should drop off the board...

I am really sorry to hear about Synap.

Hmmm. I see more loss here than in my 'real' life.

With all the stress out there and some of the flames and bashing that goes on, perhaps we could all pause and remember each others humanity.... just for a sec, at least.

You are absolutely right.

My biggest sin (notice I didn't say my ONLY) is that I let anger override my mouth (or typing) sometimes. It's something I have to continue to work at.

I still would like to see some kind of memorial board or some such with the names of the dearly departed. This group has been together, some of us, for quite a while. It's getting hard to remember the names of those who have passed - and they should be remembered...

Thinking that exact thing. I'll see what I can come up with...

Rest in Peace

Another great Pillar of Light has left us --- but his and the others light
still flicker in our memories, hearts and in the good deeds and work they left behind.

I often try to put a face on people who have posted here for so many years. His face was a kind and gentle face for me. Thankyou for looking into his absence.

:( I cry in sorrow for the passing of a dear, intelligent and kind man. He was always willing to share his knowledge helping anyone who asked and he had vasts amounts of knowledge in that intelligent brain of his. The last years of his life may not have been rich in money but he was rich and so were we. He because of who he was inside and we because we had him as a part of our life.

Heaven has gained and earth has lost on his passing. I hope to see you face to face one day there my friend.

May he forever be in divine joy and peace with our Lord God Almighty.

I think some sort of memorial is a great idea.

I'm distressed to hear about Synap. I enjoyed his contributions. RIP, bro.

I am very sorry to hear about Synap, I always respected him and enjoyed his opinions about discussions here. I think the idea of a memorial for belated members is a nice idea.

Thanks to all who took the time to find this out.
