POL Sarah Paliniovelli strikes again and again the MSM bites.

Palin’s Not Complicit in Loughner Shooting, but She Sure Ain’t Presidential, Either. Has any other public figure ever had to try to act “Presidential,” though, while being accused of complicity in mass murder?

On the other hand, if (as isn’t clear to me) she actually wants to be President, she’ll have to learn to be Presidential. Barack Obama has had his problems in that department, too, and unlike Palin, he’s had the benefit of a desperately supportive and eager-to-please mainstream media.

Palin, on the other hand, has been royally screwed-over by that same media, and has managed to come back and beat them out again and again, from “death panels” to “blood libel.” And that engenders considerable sympathy. A musician friend of mine who’s not especially political emailed me the other day: “I don’t particularly care for Palin, but every time they do this to her, I find myself hoping she becomes President, out of pure spite.”

I understand the sentiment, but being screwed over by the media, while it may breed sympathy, isn’t a qualification for being President. Richard Jewell was royally screwed over by the media, too, but he didn’t belong in the White House because of it. if Palin is to be elected President, it’s not going to be on a sympathy vote.

But here’s what’s going on in the dance between Palin and what she calls the “lamestream” media: Every time they attack her, they wind up doing something that hurts them worse than it hurts her. She may not become President, and she may not even want to be President — though, regardless, it’s in her interest to keep everyone guessing as long as possible — but with little more than an Internet connection and Facebook she’s done more lasting harm to their position than anybody else. Last night Barack Obama threw them under the bus over the whole “rhetoric” question, just hours after she had managed to work them into a snarling frenzy with an Internet video. Even though it’s hurting them, they can’t — and I mean, literally, psychologically can’t — leave her alone. And she’s getting rich the whole time.

So I don’t know about “Presidential,” but who’s dumb, here?

"...I don’t particularly care for Palin, but every time they do this to her, I find myself hoping she becomes President, out of pure spite.”.."

Like I have been ranting, the Jesse Ventura vote. This woman may be on to something and the MSM is too stupid, arrogant or just plain terrorized to recognize it.

This is a very big reason why the Left wants to control the internet so desperately. Sarah was able to get her message out without having to come hat in hand to the MSM and beg for equal air time. They can't STAND the fact that the internet is an equalizer and provides balance to their lies and venom. GO SARAH!!

I certainly don't know if Sara Palin intends to run for president, or even wants. to. I do know that she plays the Lame Stream Media, the rabid political Left and the Old Republican establishment like a cheap fiddle and all on the cheap. No huge expenditures for media space or time which the media would withhold anyway. In fact. she gets paid handsomely for her own forays into the media. Most people have difficulty naming the past losing vice presidental candidate. Not so with Gov. Palin.

They cannot help themselves. In their desperate eagerness to destroy that which they cannot control, they destroy themselves and good riddence. Sic 'em Saracuda.

The left ignores Ron Paul. They accept McCain and Romney as sort of left light but Palin scares them and they hate her for it.
The fact that a middle class person
who wasn't born with a silver spoon in their mouth,
isn't a member of the elite club
and can't be controlled
could possibly be president scares the crap out of them and I like it.

What do you mean...'not Presidential'? Who do you think would make the best President? Someone who has to take days or weeks to finally come up with a response? Or someone, like Sara Palin, who can come up with a very fitting response on the spur of the moment? Personally, I'd much rather have someone as President who can 'think on their feet' rather than someone who has to run a poll and form a commitee before they can reply intelligently.

Yeah, all this 'hoopla' just shows me Sara Palin is really the *only* person out there worthy of holding that most important office...so far.

Excellent responses, one and all. Don't you just love it, the leftists can't hide their insanity or confusion any longer, everyone sees and understands it.

Or they may be in on it. Due to her hobknobbing with international mass murderer and NWO shill, Kissinger, I still don't trust her...

Accompanied by McCain foreign policy advisers Steve Biegun and Randy Scheunemann, Palin spent 30 minutes with with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, met with Colombian President Alvaro Uribe for 20 minutes and then spent an hour and a half with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger...Palin seemed to most enjoy her time with Kissinger, who is an informal adviser to the McCain campaign. The meeting went much longer than scheduled. Biegun said they discussed a full range of "pressing national security issues," including Russia, Iran and China.

After that meeting, Palin was heard on camera saying, "it went great. It went great." She gave Kissinger a hug.

She's bagging the MSM just like she bagged the caribou. Go Sarah! (Note to Libs: The preceeding statement was a 'figure of speech' and not intended to incite actual violence).

She has been given enough rope.......She will hang her self.

She just looks foolish to me. If she runs and becomes the Republican nominee.......I would bet she will lose.

ivantherussian03, lose what? Her life? Because she scares them so badly, that's exactly what I fear she would lose. Still...she'll get my vote. Having a dead person as president is far, far better than the 'it' that we have now.

That's the point of this tread. She has taken attack after attack after attack and turned it back to the dirty liberals who hate her so. They give her rope and she uses it to tie them in knots. You may not like it but reality will do that.

I can tell you who is being played like a cheap fiddle here... but no one wants to hear it.

Oh well. "Round up the usual suspects."
