I also had a close friend who was 16 at the time she married her 40 yr. old husband. Happy marriage, and two children later, she died of breast cancer way too early. Her husband and children were devastated. There were 17 years difference in my MIL and FIL's ages when they married. As long as the girl is of legal age or( has parental consent), and isn't being forced, I don't have a problem with an age gap.

Yes they do. Whether it's a marriage or just a relationship. Some girls are attracted to older men, and some men are attracted to younger women. There isn't a law against that, except like I said, they are under age or are being forced.
