I also had a close friend who was 16 at the time she married her 40 yr. old husband. Happy marriage, and two children later, she died of breast cancer way too early. Her husband and children were devastated. There were 17 years difference in my MIL and FIL's ages when they married. As long as the girl is of legal age or( has parental consent), and isn't being forced, I don't have a problem with an age gap.
OC and I know someone who is 67, his wife is 30, they've been married 10 years hand he knew her since she was 15... age gap marriages do happen.
People are quick to confuse and despise confidence as arrogance but that is common amongst those who have never accomplished anything in their lives and who have always played it safe not willing to risk failure.
