***** Long shelf Life: I bought a case of this butter in 2009, and stored it in my basement with my other food stirage. I just opened a can and can tell you that the butter is great - no sign of spoilage at all. - Judith (Aug 2018)

I never purchased canned butter. What production dates are in inventory and how long does it stay satisfactory on average?

Sorry for late reply these fresh out of production we get inventory every month. The shelf life on Red Feather is about 2 years but a lot depends on storage conditions. It should be a cool dry place and can is not compromised during storage. We have customers who have opened cans after 5 years and it still turned out great.
