This morning I had a 2 hour ride in my truck by myself and on a lark I tuned the Sirius radio into CNN to see what they were talking about these days. It had been years since I listened to them. They talked for quite awhile about Epstein and went on and on about Trump's association with him based on Trump having said something nice about Epstein in 2002. Without saying it they were trying to build a case that Trump is implicated. Not a word about Clinton's very real and active association with Epstein and his many trips on the Lolita Express.

Then they did their best to trash Biden and praise Kamala Harris. It was clear she is the chosen one.

One more thing. They were accusing Trump of trying to incite a new Civil War

I keep asking people wailing at me in MY mentions that James Comey's daughter Maurene works in the SDNY office as a prosecutor & they **KNOW** she's been assigned to the Epstein case just **HOW** do they know this?

**HOW** do you know that Maurene Comey is working this case when the guy was just arrested yesterday, his indictment hasn't been unsealed yet and there are TWO HUNDRED TWENTY prosecutors in the SDNY office?

    justice.gov/usao-sdny/about

Looking for a reason to panic, are you? Well there are plenty of people who will be MORE THAN HAPPY to speculate their asses off and help drive you into a panic, if that's what you want.

ANYBODY claiming to you they ALREADY KNOW WHICH US ATTORNEYS IN THE SDNY OFFICE ARE WORKING THIS CASE is blowing smoke up your ass.

Do you like having smoke blown up your ass?

    I can't help that.

    It's not my problem.

Trump spent 40 years collecting dirt on these people. He let them think he was one of them. He knows who did/does what. They totally opened themselves up to him because they **THOUGHT** he was one of them. He's not and he's never been.

I've mentioned several times Trump has his own personal security agency and his own personal intelligence agency & he's had both since the early 1980's.

They're not for show, they are real & are among the best in the world. For a good reason. Long before he became President.

There was evidence released from the FBI Vault a few months back that directly pointed to Trump being an FBI informant against the NYC/NJ mob back in the 1980's. When he was heavily involved in the casino business.

Of course, Lefty sites took the wrong reading from this.

For over a year and a half, evidence has surfaced that the DOJ was carefully examining the Epstein case and the horrible rotten smell coming from it.

Plenty of corrupt cases from the past are being reviewed, some are coming ready for action. Epstein's is the first.

The Clinton Email server case, The Clinton Foundation, Operation Cassandra, the Epstein case, and of course the more recent one, the Crossfire Hurricane case.

Sessions, Rosenstein, Horowitz and now Barr & Durham have a lot on their plate. Not only ongoing stuff, but past cases.

Unbelievable. In a thread I started to highlight the face NOBODY KNOWS WHO THE PROSECUTORS ARE WHO HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED TO THIS CASE WHEN THEY INDICTMENT HASN'T EVEN BEEN UNSEALED YET people are popping in to comment that they 'know' Maurene Comey is working the case.

If I can't save people from their own stupidity, at least I can fix it so I don't have to see it.

    The blocking will now begin.

So two false narratives have **immediately** sprung up around this Epstein arrest/forthcoming indictment:

    1) There is a 'close relationship' between pedo Epstein and Donald Trump.

Guess who's been pushing THAT narrative?

    SURPRISE!

    https://t.co/VmSnKbk2kk
Glenn Simpson's Fusion GPS Used Jeffrey Epstein In Donald Trump

    2) The second false narrative to immediately spring up around the Epstein arrest/indictment is the false claim that there is **evidence** Maurene Comey, daughter of former FBI director James Comey, is working the Epstein case.

Now, I started this thread to call out the people who - with no evidence, mind you - are trying to start a panic among Trump supporters based on deep state agent Maurene Comey fixing to use Epstein to go after Donald Trump.

Here's the CNN crime & justice correspondent who is passing on SCUTTLEBUTT he heard from an anonymous source.

    @ShimonPro
Maurene Comey, the daughter of former FBI director James Comey, is one of the prosecutors, according to a source with knowledge of the case.

An anonymous claim from someone who will not go on the record & who the reporter describes as "a source with knowledge of the case" is not evidence.

    Note what Prokupecz says here:

He doesn't say "a source inside SDNY".
He doesn't say "a source inside the DOJ".
He doesn't even say "A source close to Epstein".

    THIS

    IS

    CNN.

You know, the same reporters who's "sources familiar with the matter" strung them along with fake leaks & fairy tales about the inner workings of the Mueller Special Counsel for over two years.

    Don't you remember?

Can't you recall the hundreds of stories you were regaled with by these MSM reporters where their 'sources with knowledge of" inside baseball told lurid tales of how Manafort, Flynn, Page, etc. had all 'flipped' & were spilling their guts to Mueller?

For years reporters published stories where their cool inside anonymous sources told them Mueller was squeezing these flipped canaries HARD, they were spilling their guts & informing on Trump as hard as they could, trying to save their own asses.

And it was all a fantasy. None of that happened.

Now the same reporters are spreading fake news about which prosecutors are working the Epstein case while simultaneously putting out a fun new narrative straight from Fusion GPS about what good pals Epstein & Trump are.

Not surprisingly, @themarketswork is already over this new Fusion-GPS-launched narrative that Epstein & Trump are good buddies.

A tidbit here, at least when I worked a the US Attorney's office while high profile cases would have a "lead" assistant US Attorney assigned, a really large and public case would, in reality, have a team behind them of both law clerks and other assistant US Attorneys.

Part of the reason many hot-shot lawyers would give up salaries most of us could only dream of (and I processed their paperwork, so it used to stun me) was to get "experience" working for Uncle Sam as a prosecutor.

Most always planned on leaving after a few years and go back into private practice or hope for appointments as judges or even work as Defense Lawyers for High Profile firms (having learned all the ways that Federal Prosection works).

This is also why I know that to a large degree the US Attorney's Offices (and their Federal/Washington overlords) decide which types of crimes and people to go after.

While some cases are so high profile they are going to be prosecuted (Timothy McVey etc) most of the time the decisions are made after a lot of consultations with other agencies like the FBI, sometimes the State as well as Federal Officials, etc.

We often got calls from both Nancy Pelosi (rather nice on the phone to low-level employees like me)or Diane Finstine (a bit more distant and less likely to call in person but she was the senior senator at the time) asking about specific cases and sometimes on behalf of constituents.

The whole thing is very political, in my opinion, this case would not be happening if someone from "upstairs" (in or out of the Administration) hadn't backed it up and encouraged it.

I keep thinking of Trump's double message when he took Office about the Clintons being "nice people" with the implication they should "just go home now and I'll leave you alone, make my life difficult and you will regret it."

The Mainstream Media is trying to tie this one to Trump but I don't think the mud is going to stick, not with the information coming out from the 2009 lawyers about how helpful Trump was to their investigations.

    Thanks BeWell! Excellent source.

I stated in an earlier post, my memory of Trump in a political sense extends back to an appearance he made on Oprah in 1987. Then I saw him on C-Span testifying before Congress in the early 90's. The topic in both cases was the trade situation that allowed other countries to dump steel and other goods in our country. He was against NAFTA.

I also now remember a photo of him with President Reagan. And it was thought that Reagan believed Trump was presidential material. Did Ronnie whisper any hints of warning in Donald's ear? We may never know. Trump tried to run for the Reform Party in 2000. David Duke endorsed him and Trump wanted no parts of that. I think that by 2015 he understood perfectly well he was going to be called a racist no matter what he did and so decided to embrace the downside. His blunt statements about racism proves that. The clincher for me was when he raised the questions about Obama's birth certificate. If ever there was a time that TPTB were going to get him, that was it.

Guess Whose Daughter Is Reportedly a Prosecutor in Jeffrey Epstein Case
    by Alberto Luperon | 12:58 pm, July 7th, 2019

Maurene Comey, daughter of former FBI Director James Comey, is reportedly a prosecutor in the new criminal case against convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. This details comes out of a new CNN report. The source is described as a person “with knowledge of the case.”

This and an Associated Press article are backing up a Daily Beast report that broke news Epstein faces new charges. It seems like the defendant must contend with a sex trafficking case affecting “dozens” of alleged victims. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York is handling the case. Their Public Corruption Unit is taking the lead on this, but are being helped by human trafficking officials and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, authorities said.

Maurene Comey is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the SDNY.

She’s worked on cases involving alleged racketeering, drugs and weapons offenses, embezzlement, obstruction of justice, and robbery.

Like father, like daughter. Her dad was U.S. Attorney for the same office before becoming U.S. Deputy Attorney General under President George W. Bush. Despite being a Republican, at least at the time, he became FBI Director under President Barack Obama, and controversially handled the Clinton email investigation. He stayed into the next administration, and President Donald Trump fired him. It was a whole thing.

Law&Crime reached out to the Southern District of New York about the Epstein case, and the detail about Maurene Comey. Spokesman Nicholas Biase declined to comment.

Details on the case remain sketchy, though the involvement of the Public Corruption Unit caught the attention of legal experts. Gene Rossi, a Law&Crime trial analyst and former federal prosecutor for the Eastern District of Virginia, suggested to us that Epstein may face other charges. It could mean counts of money laundering, public corruption, or tax-related crimes.

“Who knows?” he said. “The sky’s the limit.”

U.S. financier Jeffrey Epstein charged with sex trafficking
    Brendan Pierson

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Federal prosecutors in New York on Monday charged American financier Jeffrey Epstein with sex trafficking of underage girls, more than a decade after he avoided similar charges in Florida in a plea deal.

Prosecutors unsealed an indictment charging him with one count of sex trafficking and one count of sex trafficking conspiracy.

Epstein, 66, was arrested here on Saturday night and could appear in federal court on Monday to hear the charges. His lawyer, Jack Goldberger, has said Epstein will plead not guilty.

The former hedge fund manager, known for socializing with politicians and royalty, first came under investigation in 2005 after police in Palm Beach, Florida, received reports he had sexually abused minors in his mansion there.

Epstein has said in court filings that his encounters with alleged victims were consensual and that he believed they were 18 when they occurred.

By 2007, Epstein was facing a potential federal indictment for sexually abusing dozens of girls as young as 14 between 1999 and 2007, directing others to abuse them and paying employees to bring victims to him, according to court filings.

However, Epstein struck a deal in which he pleaded guilty to a lesser Florida state felony prostitution charge. He served a 13-month sentence in county jail, during which he was allowed to leave during the day to go to his office.

The deal has been challenged in court by several of Epstein’s accusers, who say they were denied a chance to have their views about it heard, in violation of the federal Crime Victims’ Rights Act.

In February of this year, a U.S. district judge in Florida agreed, ruling that the deal violated the law.

Even so, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a court filing last month there was no reason to cancel the agreement.

Among the prosecutors involved in the agreement was Alex Acosta, then the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida and now U.S. Secretary of Labor for President Donald Trump. A spokeswoman for the Department of Labor on Sunday declined to comment on Epstein’s arrest.

Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives confronted Acosta about his role in the Epstein case in April when the labor secretary appeared before the House Appropriations subcommittee on a routine budget matter.

Acosta responded that human trafficking was “an in*cred*ibly important issue” and said his office’s efforts ensured that Epstein faced jail time and had to register as a sex offender.

“I understand the frustration,” Acosta told the subcommittee. “I think it’s important to understand that he was going to get off with no jail time or restitution. It was the work of our office that resulted in him going to jail.”

A Justice Department office is investigating whether government attorneys committed professional misconduct in the Epstein case.

Brad Edwards, a lawyer who represents some of Epstein’s accusers, told Reuters on Sunday that he had taken many calls from “victims crying tears of joy” since news broke of Epstein’s arrest. “One just kept repeating that she was so happy he was finally off the streets,” Edwards said.

The indictment only covers the years 2002 through 2005 and only mentions New York and Palm Springs property. Nothing about the Island. Sounds like a rehash of what he was charged with before and eliminates the Island. Don't like the Island being eliminated. That was the hang out for the Clintons among other big fish in the Pedo rings. Starting to smell bad but it has just started and maybe more to come.

Only Property Address mentioned is 9 East St. New York, New York: Block 1386 Lot#10 owned by Maple Inc.

If this is going after the Clintons he is Dead Man Walking. If going after President Trump it will be Saint Epstein according to the press.

    From another board.........

"Epstein has also provided information to the FBI as agreed upon." Mueller's FBI ordered stand down on prosecution.
FROM THE FBI'S OWN DECLASSED DOCS

[Mostly redacted]...."Epstein has also provided information to the FBI as agreed upon. Case agent [FBI] advised that no federal prosecution will occur in this matter [child prostitution and trafficking] as long as Epstein continues to uphold his agreement with the State of Florida.

ROBERT MUELLER'S FBI ADVISED U.S. ATTORNEY NOT TO PROSECUTE in 2008!!!

Fake News now pinning this on Atty. Acosta but it's MuleBoy again pulling the strings as evidence by the delcassed FOIA docs [heavily redacted]. But the proof is simply right there.

I'm still backing the solution in the middle. Epstein won't do any time over this because he'll sing like a whole forest of birds and turn state's evidence on everybody else.

This is possible but not certain, I do recall how "convenient" the death of the former head of ENRON was (even protected his kids in inheritance he might even have agreed to murder/suicide).

It also depends a lot on just what section of the Elites think they get out of "sacrificing" one of their own (either by life in prison or death) vs. the extreme fear on the part of another group.

Over the decades off an on, I've known some folks (usually the kids) of various elites in various parts of the world and it is a myth that they are all one united front, rather they are groups and sections with common interests but when those interests are no longer common fights can break out.

Which can make figuring out what is going on internationally (and even internally) really difficult.

Example in the US - Clinton faction vs. Bush Family faction - and even that isn't totally clear cut.

Heh...guarantee you that he will live to his dying day. I just wouldn't make book on how long he has if he starts to sing. Gotta imagine a lot of sweaty palms in political and entertainment circles over this little revelation.

Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein pleads not guilty, accused of paying underage girls for sex

Posted: 9:01 PM, Jul 06, 2019 Updated: 5 minutes ago

NEW YORK — Palm Beach billionaire Jeffrey Epstein pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking charges in New York federal court on Monday after an indictment said he abused dozens of underage girls, some of them as young as 14.

Epstein, arrested over the weekend and dressed in a blue jail jumpsuit on Monday, will remain behind bars until a bail hearing on Thursday.

Epstein, a 66-year-old hedge fund manager who once hobnobbed with some of the world's most powerful people, was charged in an indictment unsealed Monday with sex trafficking and conspiracy. The charges carry up to life in prison.

He was accused of paying underage girls hundreds of dollars in cash for massages and then molesting them at his homes in Florida and New York.

Epstein "intentionally sought out minors and knew that many of his victims were in fact under the age of 18," prosecutors said. He also paid some of his victims to "recruit additional girls to be similarly abused by Epstein."

"In this way, Epstein created a vast network of underage victims for him to sexually exploit in locations including New York and Palm Beach," prosecutors said.

Epstein's lawyer did not respond to repeated messages seeking comment.

At a news conference on Monday morning, the U.S. Attorney's Office said if you or someone you know was victimized by Epstein, please call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Epstein, whose friends have included President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton and Britain's Prince Andrew, was arrested Saturday at an airport in New Jersey, just outside New York City, after his private jet touched down from France. He was being held at the federal lockup in Manhattan.

Former federal prosecutor David Weinstein said there was almost no chance Epstein would be allowed out on bail.

"The guy is a millionaire or a billionaire. He has unrestrained assets," he said. "If they let him out on a bond, he may take off, go to a jurisdiction where they don't have extradition, and they may never get him back."

Epstein's arrest came amid increased #MeToo-era scrutiny of the 2008 non-prosecution deal that allowed Epstein to plead guilty to lesser state charges while maintaining a jet-set lifestyle that includes homes in Paris and the U.S. Virgin Islands and a Bentley.

Under the deal — overseen by Alexander Acosta, who was the U.S. attorney in Miami at the time and is now Trump's labor secretary — Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges of soliciting and procuring a person under age 18 for prostitution. He avoided a possible life sentence and served 13 months in jail.

The deal also required that he reach financial settlements with dozens of his victims and register as a sex offender.

Acosta has defended the agreement as appropriate, though the White House said in February that it was looking into his handling of the case.

The deal, examined in detail in a series of stories in The Miami Herald, is being challenged in federal court in Florida. A federal judge ruled earlier this year that Epstein's victims should have been consulted under the law about the agreement, and he is now weighing whether to invalidate it.

Federal prosecutors recently filed court papers in the Florida case contending Epstein's deal, known as an NPA, must stand.

"The past cannot be undone; the government committed itself to the NPA, and the parties have not disputed that Epstein complied with its provisions," prosecutors wrote in the filing.

It was not immediately clear whether that case and the new charges involved the same victims, since nearly all have remained anonymous.

Epstein's guilty plea involved only state crimes, while the current case involves federal law. As a result, his constitutional protection against double jeopardy does not apply.

According to court records in Florida, authorities say at least 40 underage girls were brought into Epstein's Palm Beach mansion for what turned into sexual encounters after female fixers looked for suitable girls locally and in Eastern Europe and other parts of the world.

WPTV and the Associated Press contributed to this report.

Why won't he just keep the big names out of his testimony? It may be a shortcut to a quicker conviction, but wouldn't it be better to take the longer road through discovery and a trial in order to really clean up?

Probably because he could plead out, without a trial. If it goes to trial, he could get 45 years, or more, depending what comes out during discovery.

So, take the 5 years without a trial... he knows what skeletons he has in the closet...

Gang, Epstein isn't a fool. He KNOWS he is up against the Clinton Crime Cabal, as in Arkcanicide anybody. Therefore, he is ALREADY making noises about squawking about exactly who did what, and where they did it, as in BILL CLINTON raping 14 year old girls. Sorry, Dennis but nobody gets a pass on that once they are outed. By the way, gang the feds are talking about 40, yes 40, young girls. The other issue is the fact that Trump's Labor Secretary is the pedophile enabler who gave Epstein a sweetheart deal. I also see no way Acosta is still in office, since Trump is going to have to dump him fast. And Trump has NO connection to this pedophile and serial rapist of young girls. I have been praying for months now that the pedophile rings are exposed and the scum get the millstone treatment. And here we are with the Deep State going down hard. I have said it multiple times, Dennis the ONLY thing that will take down the Deep State is documented child abuse and molestation incidents that name the big boys and girls. Whatever else Trump has done, he has consistently gone after the pedo rings, and for that he is the sword of God in my view. And yeah, Trump is really playing 5th level chess in going after the pedo rings. If Bill Clinton is indicted, which seems to be what Pelosi's daughter hinted at in her tweet, then it is simply the END of the modern Democrat Party.

Epstein Claims Immunity; Prosecutors Say "Extremely Concerning" Images Seized

Update4: In a second Monday hearing, Epstein's attorneys have argued that he has immunity under a 2008 plea deal. As we noted earlier, however, the new case includes additional alleged victims who weren't covered by Epstein's non-prosecution agreement, according to Bloomberg.

His attorneys have also argued that the images seized in a raid of his Manhattan mansion are "ancient" and show consenting adults.

Prosecutors, on the other hand, say that the images are "extremely concerning."

Epstein's bail hearing has been rescheduled to July 15.

Update3: Epstein pleaded not guilty during his Monday arraignment. His lawyer has asked the judge to set aside any decision on granting bail for three days while Epstein remains in custody, and has called the case "essentially a do-over" on "ancient stuff."
The hearing has adjourned until Thursday the 11th.

Update2: According to OANN's Jack Posobiec, Epstein is willing to cooperate with the investigation, including giving up the names of those who engaged in sex with underage girls, in exchange for a maximum sentence not to exceed five years.

In a Monday bail memorandum letter to Judge Henry Pittman of the Southern District of New York, prosecutors said there was an "extraordinary risk of flight, particularly given the defendant's exorbitant wealth, his ownership of and access to private planes capable of international travel, and his significant international ties."

Also noted was the potential for Epstein to "attempt to pressure and intimidate witnesses and potential witnesses in this case, including victims and their families, and otherwise attempt to obstruct justice."

"As a result, he poses both an acute danger to the community, including some of its most vulnerable members, and a significant risk of flight."

As the defendant acknowledged in his most recent New York State sex offender registration, he has six residences, including two in the U.S. Virgin Islands (including his own private island), and one each in Palm Beach, Florida; Paris, France; New York, New York; and Stanley, New Mexico. The most recent estimated value of the defendant’s New York City mansion alone is more than $77 million. The most recent tax-assessed value of the defendant’s Palm Beach estate is more than $12 million. The defendant’s primary residence is a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, a place where any sort of meaningful supervision would be all but impossible.

Moreover, the defendant has access to innumerable means to flee. His sex registration documentation of “current vehicles” lists no fewer than 15 motor vehicles, including seven Chevrolet Suburbans, a cargo van, a Range Rover, a Mercedez-Benz sedan, a Cadillac Escalade, and a Hummer II. These cars are registered in various states and territories including the Virgin Islands, New York, Florida, and New Mexico. The defendant also has access to two private jets, giving him the ability to leave the country secretly and on a moment’s notice and to go virtually anywhere he wants to travel. He is a very frequent international traveler and regularly travels to and from the United States by private plane. In particular, between January 1, 2018, and the present, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol has logged approximately more than 20 flights in which Epstein was traveling to or from a foreign country. Indeed, he was arrested at Teterboro Airport arriving on just such a private international flight after having spent approximately three weeks abroad. Extensive international travel of this nature further demonstrates a significant risk of flight.

More on the photographs found during the raid this weekend

Finally, despite having been previously convicted of a sex offense involving an underage victim, the defendant has continued to maintain a vast trove of lewd photographs of young-looking women or girls in his Manhattan mansion. In a search of the New York Residence on the night of his arrest, on July 6-7, 2019, pursuant to judicially-authorized warrants, law enforcement officers discovered not only specific evidence consistent with victim recollections of the inside of the mansion, further strengthening the evidence of the conduct charged in the Indictment, but also at least hundreds—and perhaps thousands—of sexually suggestive photographs of fully- or partially nude females. While these items were only seized this weekend and are still being reviewed, some of the nude or partially-nude photographs appear to be of underage girls, including at least one girl who, according to her counsel, was underage at the time the relevant photographs were taken. Additionally, some of the photographs referenced herein were discovered in a locked safe, in which law enforcement officers also found compact discs with hand-written labels including the following: “Young [Name] + [Name],” “Misc nudes 1,” and “Girl pics nude.” The defendant, a registered sex offender, is not reformed, he is not chastened, he is not repentant;6 rather, he is a continuing danger to the community and an individual who faces devastating evidence supporting deeply serious charges
