I had to take my daughter to the ER

Some of you might remember the issues I was having with my 12 year old daughter a while back. Yesterday we had to take her to the ER because she took a whole bottle of advil (big bottle) and a portion of another. They did blood work and hydrated her while trying to relieve nausia. After she was medically cleared she was Baker Acted and taken to a mental health facility. The wife and I have a meeting tomorrow with the facility to discuss the situation. She's been seeing a therapist once a week for a couple of months but were finding out that it's tuff trying to protect her from herself. Please pray for God to shield her from her demons. Thank you for your prayers.

    I'll pray for your daughter.
I once was blind but now I see!...
Acts 9:11 The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”

My prayers are going up. There seems to be attacks going on against kids right about now.

Definitely will add her to the prayer list. Hopefully, the psych hold will give them a chance to try to figure out what is going on in her head, so she can begin to heal.

Friend, you cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. And what one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government can't give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody.

Yeah, and our insurance blows. I got access to my retirement late last year and I've been paying bills with it, we are pretty much debt free other than car payments and I will be paying off one of them soon. It looks like we will be putting her in private school because this bullshit didn't start till she got into this middle school she's going to now. The girls she calls 'friends' are a BAD influence so those relationships are OVER. If I could flush the rest of my retirement down the toilet in exchange for my daughter back I would do it in a heart beat so a couple of years in a private school setting is worth the price of admission.

Smart to pull her out of that school.

Have a friend who home schooled her girls until the oldest really wanted the socialization of high school. Mom let her go. The daughter is not socially 'fluent' shall we say so she ended up hanging with the 'dweebs' (as we called them in my H.S. days). Daughter is now hanging out with lesbians because she tells her mom no one else will associate with her. Told her mom she feels like killing herself and cutting herself. This was all in a matter of 3 months. Needless to say, mom yanked her out and is back to home schooling.

Will be praying the name of Christ over your daughter.

    DONE!!

PLEASE make sure that you don't have any TYLENOL (AKA "NON ASPIRIN" Acetaminophen, etc.) in the house. We can deal with ibuprophen (Motrin etc) but not Tylenol. Tyl is a KILLER it just takes a couple years and it is NOT a nice way to go. Bullets are just as sure and they hurt less.

Prayers said, its an all too common problem , A lot of the blame is to be laid at the feet of Social Media , we don't use it and we don't allow our kids on it, I wonder will history reveal what a toxic environment facebook, snap chat, whatsapp et al created for children,

Prayers up for your daughter. I suggest you carefully examine what she's reading, listening to, and watching. It sounds like there might be something more than adolescent struggling.
