    Bird Box new Netflix film

A new Netflix movie with sandra Bullock.

Not for young teens or children or folks who cannot handle horror.

Interesting premise. Based upon the book with same name.

Interesting plot line where extra terrestrials invasion causes folks who have sight either become muderous or see their greatest sorrows or fears and the kill themselves.

The story is of a woman and her journey of survival from pregnancy to refuge.

Filmed partly in Del Norte county California on the Smith River.

I saw it last night. I was curious and bored so I watched. It caught my attention enough that I didn't go wandering about and paused it when I had to leave the room. Nice movie and I like it.
Please, come say Hi! and share your experience/knowledge. I love to learn.

Yes, I was so looking forward to the new Sandra Bullock film but this was quite dark. I no longer do scary very well but it was interesting seeing her in a different type of film.
I have much praise for the 2 child actors. They were very good for being so young.

Spoiler Alert, I liked the innovated tethers and yes, the child actors were excellent! There has been a slew of movies filmed in the northern coastal counties of Humboldt and Del Norte over the years including a Star Wars flick, and many really cruddy ones. This movie definitely was suspenseful and intriguing. Hubby had issues with the River scene due to how highly difficult the Smith River is to navigate with full vision and blind folded were be nigh on impossible. He normally does not watch post end of the civilization flicks and yet he enjoyed this one. The film production did bring in much needed funds to the region and we know a few of the extra actors. They said everyone on the film crew were great to work with.
