Great news, RM. thanks for keeping us updated. He’s a special little boy.

Yay! Thank you so much for the update, RM! I’m sure that, with all of our prayers, God must have a dedicated angel on the job! Let’s not forget to thank Him!

    Prayers continuing!

I KNOW getting him out of NICU and home has been the ultimate plan all along - and maybe its just me - but that's gotta be pretty dang scary for the parents.

that little boy and his parents need our continued prayers - I'm praying that they will have PLENTY of time IN the hospital - WITHOUT the CPAP - to be both safe and comfortable with it when they are sent home.
That is just such wonderful news! God IS hearing and answering our prayers. Prsyers continue for Caleb, for him to progress to complete heslth. For strength and hope and confidence for his parents, and that they recieve as much support as they msy need in his first days and weeks at home. And above all, the God recieve the glory for his healing.

    Wonderful news, RM.

I would suggest printing out this thread for Caleb's parents.

Great update but I still prayed again for little Caleb. Lifting him high to our Father in Heaven for complete healing and more strength and help for the parents.

This is fantastic news, Raggedyman! I know what I speak of when each hurdle, no matter how small, is passed. I am totally blown away about how very strong these littlest people are. They are fighters for sure. Look and see what lessons they can teach us.

Still praying for little Caleb. Like I have stated before, it's not what we would have chosen to travel but the journey and the destination are so very special. There ARE miracles all around us if we just choose to see them.

    YAY!!! Come on March!

I have to think that these babies that successfully overcome such adversity in their young lives are destined for great things.

I'm still praying for the little guy each day. The pic of him praising is awesome
I once was blind but now I see!...
Acts 9:11 The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”

    more good news on Caleb!

from FTM-PTB who was with Caleb's father Chad earlier today:

Caleb's doing pretty well. Completely off any oxygen support and still breathing on his own. another echo was done recently that showed his ejection fraction at 67 - his Doctors said that anything between 60 and 70 is normal for a baby his size. Right now the biggest thing is trying to get him to eat by mouth - but he's not been too cooperative about it. parents were told that's normal since he's never eaten anything by mouth - essentially he needs to be trained to do what he was supposed to know how to do when he was born. He had a sniff test (checks the diaphragm) and an upper GI scan done earlier this week and all was normal.

He will most likely go to surgery this coming week to have a feeding tube placed and then possibly get to come home in about 2 weeks!

that's pretty darn good news!!!! thank you FATHER!
