Texas blue areas get their votes in early.

It takes awhile for the rural areas to finish.

It is not uncommon for Massachusetts and Vermont to elect moderate Republicans despite otherwise being blue States. Moderate Republicans are often closer to the mainstream than far lefter's running on the Democrat ticket. Vermont will be re-electing a moderate Republican Governor. He'll again be the only Republican holding a Statewide office.

House is 38 Dem, 44 Repub. Senate unchanged. Dems needed 23 new seats for a majority. They have two.

With 93% of FL reporting, Rick Scott (Senate) and Desantis (Gov) are both up about 1%.

I'm sorry--I tried to post this to Doomer Doug's thread and it timed out, and now I don't even know if I can get on that thread (I almost didn't get back on TB--it timed out twice while I was trying) so I hope it's ok to post my question here (...IF it posts):

The current Senate is 51 Republicans and 49 Democrats....All told, I'm saying Trump may very well have a 60 seat US Senate Majority to work with. In the US House, Trump will have a bare bones majority of under five, say around 222 or so.
I'm ashamed to have to ask this, but need to in order to keep up with the tally on https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...?ref=oembed---

    CURRENTLY (prior to the election)--

How many Damocrat and how many Republican seats in the House?

    Thanks!

Somehow I figure this is going to be a late night for me. At least later than normal.

This jigsaw puzzle has not taken form yet, the reported results are a mixed back and forth, both parties seem to switch on a continuous basis.

I did find an online site with updated Live Election Results, surprising enough from the New York Times??

It seems to be continuously updated, the reason I like it is it has both the National and Local results. All you have to do is point and click toward an area you are interested to get the results as they get updated.

    Thank God.
I didn't think "Wisdom, Justice, Moderation" has gone out of style. Chatting with some friends back home, folks thinks that bi*ch is CRAZY for running for governor. A niglet Yankee carpetbagger for governor??In Georgia???is what I keep hearing. One bud suggested digging up Lincoln (may he burn in hell) and running him for governor. He would be about as popular....
Like my buddies I have mellowed over the years-her running has brought out the youthful redneck again. And oh God were we rednecks when running together.
