It is mind blowing that you start an empty thread and it gets over a thousand views.

This thread is TB2K's answer to Seinfeld. It was about nothing and was a hit. I don't understand, but it's funny, anyhow.

Allow me to use this thread for a shameless plug for our Market Prediction thread down in the Corkboard.

Throw out a bid if you want, but even if you don't -- if you like this thread, you'll probably like that one.

Which...just means you aren't normal. Just like Groucho.

If you'd been around here longer, you'd understand. This place is, frankly, odd, and populated by really, really odd people. We look at things "differently" than most, and we can make almost anything funny. You'll get used to it in another year or two...

I've been meaning to bump up my post count a little, and this thread is a great one to do just that!

(I predict this may become one of the longer threads around here, LOL)

I think it's really funny that a thread titled "don't go here" has 1,450 views!! As my cat says, "you're not the boss of ME!!" lol

One of my favorite thread from the distant past. http://www.timebomb2000.com/vb/showt...ts-starts-fire The postings show our appreciation for good literature and creativity, if not decorum.

Who would be so crass as to use this thread for mere post count inflation?

    Today's word is ............... Fluctuations

(I will never hear or see this word again
    without thinking of this joke.)

I was at my bank today; there was a short line.
There was just one lady in front of me, an Asian
lady, who was trying to exchange yens for dollars.
It was obvious she was very irritated ...

She asked the teller,"Why it change? Yesterday,
I get two hunat dolla fo yen. Today I only get
    hunat eighty? Why it change?"

The teller shrugged his shoulders and said,
    "Fluctuations."

The Asian lady says, Fluc you white people too"!!!

Tut tut! Sundry Persiflage... here's your opportunity, scarletbreasted in FNQ who copped 500 mm (18 inches - 20 inches in Yankee banter) of precipitation a few days past. Last I heard he tripped in the fast flowing gutter at Cairns, Australia. Haven't heard a thing since..., but I figure a thread like this'll perk him up...
