    In the big picture, the money saved isn't huge, but cuts like this can add up. Considering that NPR and PBS does, for the most part, broadcast flaming liberal nutcase opinions, I say let the socialists support your tripe.

    Since it's the PUBLIC broadcasting system.....shouldn't the PUBLIC be fully supporting it and not the GOVERNMENT. It is called PBS and not GBS.
    We have done so much, with so little, for so long....We can now do anything, with nothing, forever.

    It's ridiculous that the American people are forced to support this liberal claptrap through their taxes. If anyone wants to listen to such rot they should have to pony up and pay for it themselves. Having to

    support themselves will lead to better programming if they want to stay viable. Competition is good.

    It would take a hell of a lot of those nickel and dime cuts! Carve away a few nickels and dimes and make sure everybody sees you do it, then behind closed doors go ahead and toss another trillion dollars on the national debt every year. The Treasury Department just released its projections saying the annual deficit for FY2018 will be nearly $1 trillion, about $1.1 trillion in FY2019, and about $1.3 trillion in FY2020. By the time the next Presidential election rolls around the national debt should be at or more than $25 trillion. Mind you, that excludes anything like a major war, attempting to jump start another recession, very expensive natural disasters, etc.

    This is good.

    I watched a American Experience special on PBS the other night .
    It was about the ms13 gangs and how they were good little boys and how two that were arrested should not have been and they are all miss guided boys and they just need a chance

    So yes cut them off.
