I would've been tempted to pee off the ramp. But I note the fighter was packing heat, so maybe that would not have turned out so well!

    HELL YEAH!!

Some friends from Astan make the comment that there isn't ANYTHING better than to be in contact and hear some low voiced French chick ask where they want her load of ordnance....

Which is why I no longer insult French Military....

Cool but I was gonna be more impressed if he stuck some of those nose of his bird into that open ass of the cargo plane.

I’m assuming both aircraft were Russian? Those cargo handlers were wearing civvies except the one guy. Pretty cool but not too bright, one piece of FOD coming loose from inside the cargo compartment could have easily taken out that nice, expensive fighter jet.

As a pilot I rememeber the it as: There are bold pilots & there are old pilots, but there are NO old & bold pilots.

For those of us who have performed in-air refueling, that is known as the pre-contact position. It is something that is practiced and is quite challenging to perform - especially at that speed for a fighter. To bad he kept clear of the drop....

I’m assuming both aircraft were Russian?

Il-76 transport, Su-30 fighter, deployed in Syria. Remember those designations, if the neocons get the war with Russia they want so badly you'll be seeing more of them....

In early 1969 I was stationed at Ft Richardson, AK, living on-post. My neighbor was a major, working in the operations center at Elmandorf AFB. One weekend we were socializing and he said that earlier that week a Soviet Mig fighter had done a touch-and-go at Elmandorf, then split for the USSR. The "ready" response (2 F-102 Delta Darts) then took about 30 minutes to get off the ground and give belated chase. It was supposedly classified as a "non-event"...
