People are quick to confuse and despise confidence as arrogance but that is common amongst those who have never accomplished anything in their lives and who have always played it safe not willing to risk failure.

Vimeo embeds the same way as YouTube.

Just remove the "s" from "https://www.xxx"

Just make sure to wear a helmet! Apparently these guys are hokey players so not surprised that they are skating around in the woods like this.

It says "Duluth Skate" so looks like home turf to me. That's what happens when it rains and then freezes on top of a snowmobile/ski trail through the woods.

And not any huge feat of daring-do. Remember that most of the kids up here are skating as soon as they can stand up.

What, cross-country skiing isn't good enough? I sprained an ankle just watching.

Who maintains those trails? That is something I would never even want to try.

Those icy conditions happen just once in a blue moon. The trails look to me like Duluth city trails, but many are also either privately (club) or state maintained. And yes, city of Duluth has many many miles of wooded trails like this. If anybody is familiar, this has the feel of the trails up west of Spirit Mountain off of old Skyline.

Not familiar with this part of Duluth, but do know that this does happen, like you said once in a blue moon, this happens in Newfoundland, where their first pair of shoes is a pair of hockey boots!

I get the vibe that these boyz probably mountain bike the same trails in the summer.

Thank you for that little bit of information, I'll quit beating myself up now for not being able to embed the video, and yes it is a wicked cool video... those guys are certifiably insane!

One of my favorite memories as a kid in rural Wisconsin was ice skating the frozen winding creek near my home in and out of the bushes and trees. This high speed stuff would have been a hit too in my younger days. One thing I loved about our little country school was that we had a hill behind the school for tobogganing and an ice rink for skating during recess.

Up here we used to call that "Recess"! Ok, ok, what they did IS a bit more than the stuff we skated on up and down roads and the trails thru the woods. Though I HAVE cross-country skiied trails exactly like that! Still not sure how I managed to stay upright and NOT hit the trees....

I grew up playing hockey. Would have loved this if it was available in the 'sunny' south. I have skated where the threat of falling through the ice was real, but never had to be concerned about hitting trees. I have skied and mountain biked with the threat of trees and survived, so I would have done this in a heartbeat.

This looks like broken bones and bodies just waiting to happen. Probably fun....but.....one slip and you're in traction, or worse.

Yeah, but these guys probably grew up blasting into hockey boards at full speed since the age of 6. I do see helmets and some knee pads though.
