    Confusing at the moment:

    Nov 14, 2017

CORNING, Calif. (KRCR) - Witnesses tell a chilling account of two gunmen who opened fire at Rancho Tehama Elementary School near Corning Tuesday morning.

Coy Ferreira, whose daughter is a kindergarten student, was dropping his daughter off for class just before 8 a.m. when he heard what sounded like a firecracker. A school secretary ran out and yelled for the kids to get in the classrooms because someone was shooting at the school.

Ferreira said he ran into a classroom with 14 students. He said the series of shots came through the classroom windows, hitting one student. Ferreria said a young boy was shot in the foot and chest. He said the child was alert and talking. He said another student in an adjacent classroom was shot under the arm. That child was also conscious.

Ferreira said there were two gunmen. He saw one of them, a man in his 30s-40s dressed in green camo running away from the school after the shooting.

Officials are telling residents in the Rancho Tehama area to stay inside their homes until they are able to secure the situation.

Students at Rancho Tehama Elementary were evacuated to the Rancho Tehama Recreation Hall. Parents can pick up their children there.

A witness named Tiffany, who operates Coffee Addiction Coffee Shop near the school, told KRCR News Channel 7 she heard 90 to 100 shots fired.

She reported seeing a Honda drive by with the windows shot out. She also saw at least five ambulances responding to the area.

Tiffany's husband, Brian Rodgers, said another witness reported seeing a white pickup drive through the school gate and start shooting.

Authorities have not confirmed the number of victims.

Rancho Tehama is a community of about 3,500 northwest of Corning.

This is a developing story, please check back for updates.

Police are responding to reports of multiple shooting victims in the area of Rancho Tehama southwest of Red Bluff in which multiple children were wounded this morning.

Officials were not available to comment on the shooting, but emergency radio traffic included multiple gunshot victims in the shooting.

A helicopter medical crew reported they were transporting a 6-year-old victim to Mercy Medical Center in Redding. The child had two gunshot wounds, according to emergency scanner traffic.

A second child also was reported to have been shot in the right leg, according to emergency dispatch reports.

A 30-year-old man was also being taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the right thigh, according to emergency dispatch reports.

The incident was reported around 8:15 a.m.

There were reports of somebody barricaded in a structure and of multiple victims, including one person who is dead.

Jose Garcia, who owns the La Fortuna Market, about a half-mile from the Rancho Tehama School, said he heard "a lot of shooting" near the school shortly after 8 a.m.

He heard there were people injured, but those were unconfirmed reports.

An official at the Corning Elementary School District confirmed the elementary school in Rancho Tehama is on lockdown. Rancho Tehama is southwest of Red Bluff.

No one answered the phone at the elementary school, and an official speaking for Rich DuVarney, Tehama County superintendent of schools, said he was trying to find out what was happening in Rancho Tehama.

The Tehama County Sheriff's Office escorted a busload of children evacuated from the nearby Rancho Tehama Elementary School to the local Rancho Tehama Association, located at the entrance of the reserve.

Rosie DeOliveira, administrative assistant at the association, said that deputies have instructed the community to "shelter in place," stay indoors and stay low.

"Our doors are locked," she said.

Record Searchlight reporters are en route.

Sounds like another play to take away gun rights. What would possess grown men to shoot blindly into an elementary school except to cause terror.

Multiple students have been transported after an "active shooter situation" at an elementary school in Tehama County, officials said.

According to local law enforcement, there were "multiple victims in multiple locations." The suspected shooter is dead, police said.

There was no immediate estimate on the number of victims, but police confirmed that "a number of students" were transported to hospitals.

Police said there were "at least five" shooting scenes.

Ann Bates, administrative assistant to the superintendent of Corning Union Elementary School District, confirmed injuries at the school, but said there were no deaths at this time.

The school remains on lock down.

About 100 students attend the school where the shooting took place, according to Bates.

Yeah, no shootings for a year and suddenly they blossom within a 45 day period. The new legislation they have waiting to be signed must be worse than usual.

Three people were killed in a Tuesday morning shooting that took place at an elementary school in Tehama County, which is located near Chico, California, sheriff's officials said.

The alleged shooter is dead, sheriff's officials said, and multiple injuries are being reported.

According to the sheriff's office, multiple shots were fired at Rancho Tehama School sometime before 9 a.m. There are currently 100 law enforcement personnel on scene.

"I know that we have (airlifted) a number of students," Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston told KCRA News. "I know that the school's been cleared. I know that we have children that were attending school in a safe location at this time."

May God have mercy on this poor helpless woman and her child.

When she went outside she left her house. (I wonder if she was carrying a gun?)

She may or may not have the right to bear arms in that state depending upon where she plans to bear them and if she actually has them (or one).

I truly hope she is capable of protecting her son.

It is likely she has never fired a gun but then... I could be wrong.

She could be a CQB firearms instructor.

But... I doubt that is the case.

From almost his very first shortwave broadcast,
I listened until the last one, to the late great patriot,
    Milton William Cooper.

He talked about events such as this one, many times.

They are getting ready to lower the boom, on the deplorables.

Any event or venue, where there are large groups,
of primarily White peoples, is going to be a target.

In the past six weeks so far, they have hit people at a music concert,
people out walking on a city trail, people at their church,
    and now kids at school.

The victims have been primarily, White peoples.

They will continue the attacks, and soon IMHO, they are going
to hit the deplorables really hard, probably a large place
    of employment.

Stay home, out of public, and only go out, when absolutely necessary.

Get prepared, and standby to repell boarders.

IMHO, the days of living a fairly peaceful life,
for most Americans, is soon to be over.

Please be safe everyone, and please arm up.

    Regards to all deplorables.

Common here to have a "Resource Officer" at the schools.

Not one per school but.... here and there.

Not for terrorists but for rowdy teens and such... been that way for years, however....

it is not the answer ... neither is it adequate.

"Flint said his truck was stolen and his roommate was shot and killed by the alleged shooter whom he described as 'Kevin,' a known felon in his 50s.”

Another criminal. Awful. Prayers for #RanchoTehama.

    described as 'Kevin,'
    Helluva description.... "Kevin"

If they know his friggin name they know more.

It is actually important in our profiling efforts.

Flint also said his neighbor was a known felon and often harassed him and his neighbors.
Wait, what? A supposedly "known felon" shoots guns and is generally crazy, and no arrest before this could be stopped? Really? REALLY? THAT does not pass the smell test.

Another known felon, kills more people.
    This time, little kids.

The Texas church shooter was also
    pretty much a known felon.

Why were they out? Felons should be locked up,
not let out, to punish law abiding citizens.

More prisons, I mean a massive amount of more prisons,
need to be built. Known felons, need to be in cages,
    where they belong.

Again, some government agency has failed the American people.

Please be safe everyone, and please arm up.

    Regards to all deplorables.

ETA: I'm not actually trying to be funny. It's just the absurdity of it all.

    smell test?

    Hell... it reeks.

(also implies complicity... of sorts... as well as aiding and abetting)

This happened about 40 miles from here. It's a quiet community on I-5, famous for its olive groves. Lots of Mexicans in the area.

PS There's no woods there in Corning, just olive groves and rice fields.

What's worse, is if she lives within 1000 feet of the school, she technically is breaking the law if she DOES go outside and try to protect herself and her baby. Goddamn all gun grabbing morons, anyway!

    OK... guessing time.

    What's it gonna be?

    1. Race related

    2. Religion related

    3. Anti gun agenda related

    Winner gets the customary seegar.
