Don't apologize for that - it's in the job description!

Hope he gets better soon, and feels better sooner. My SIL was recently in the hospital for major surgery, and the family set up a CaringBridge site for her - http://www.caringbridge.org/. It made it quick and easy to keep far-flung family and friends up to date on developments and made it easy to send get well messages to the patient as well.

Look it over and see if you think it worthwhile....
    Thanks, I'll look it over.

Praying for him, and I probably shouldn't say it, but I'm ANGRY. I've *never* heard of a doctor withholding antibiotics before for peritonitis because they wanted to see if it would resolve or whatever their idiotic reasons were. This has malpractice written ALL over it, and I hope Gabriel's parents know it.

Right now, you need to concentrate on getting him better, but while I don't know their financial situation, insurance, etc this second stay shouldn't cost them a PENNY. And that's at the least that should happen. You keep after them "grandma", because you were right...

Praying for him to completely recover and for pain relief and comfort.

I will be holding Gabriel and all of you up in prayer. Like many have said. Follow you instincts and stick to your guns. You know your grandchild far better then any Dr. or nurse.

Poor kid has got to be sore after all of that. God be with you and bring speedy healing to him. About the last place you should be if your sick is a hospital. All kids of super duper bugs hanging out around those places.

Am glad to hear the somewhat good news! And I will still be praying for healing for Gabriel.

Keep after the doctors, grandma! Bring your rolling pin and club them if they don't listen!

Talked to DD. He has walked twice. Pediatrician is surprised that he is still in so much pain.

It looks like I will be up there from about 7 AM til whenever; maybe 4 or 5 PM.

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. -Rocky Balboa~
