This. It's really hard not to stay glued now that it seems everyone keeps changing their stories. In the AM news, it's "no we weren't warned about upcomming threats" in the PM it's all about how everyone had ample warning. Just don't know what to believe.

Watchful. I live in hurricane country so that is normal state of affairs June to November.
Concerned about the economy more than the affairs in the ME.

    Watchful...and concerned.
ME is always a firecracker, but with 25 countries sending ships to the Straits of Hormuz, that's a lot of traffic in a small area. Prime for an "incident" to occur.

I'm a New Memeber here and I didn't hesitate a second to click on "glued to the screen...."

Not surprised that over 52% of those voting so far feel the same.

I see no way out of the situation in the Middle East. None.

Although I'm not as "glued" to the Far East, the China-Japan confrontation is extremely dangerous.

Moved up to glued but mostly for info on the forum. If it happens it happens. God is in control, I keep telling myself.

Watching & waiting. Trying not to let the watching get in the way of my daily chores. Must keep functioning!

Even if the Iran war starts, there will be no WW3, at least right away. So there is still some time before the end of Western civilization, per se.

The Iran war is the start of the countdown to Christ's return, which is 2300 days. And that is a good thing, in a paradoxical way. God is in control. Read Dan. 8 to understand.

    You asked. I answered. lol.
    True, but...

That doesn't mean the sleepers here won't wake up and get their orders to raise as much havoc as they can. 3.5 years of terrorist attacks in the right places could/would bring chaos and destruction to many of our lives.

This may be a long wait until anything actually happens or it could start today. Too many crazies over there just wanting to get it on.

Okay, now I think I'll change my vote to expecting the worse any day now. I was outside cleaning my garage and suddenly a loud deep throaty sound caught my attention. I walked out just in time to see two huge military helicopters coming in from the southeast toward the refineries which are wnw of me. They were extremely low. I don't live within 70 miles of a military base which is due north. Hmmmm

For the first time ever I have voted "glued".

  14. #54
I'm glued. Actually I'm running with the animals to higher ground. Not bugging. Just running. Good exercise. I live in the middle of nowhere. And black helicopters flying over head. Thought I was crazy at first. But my family confirmed it the other day when I was out of town. Always in pairs. Never 1. always pairs. I'm sure they are just practicing.

I do what I can, I've done what I could. Continue to look for ways to be as prepared as I can be and still live whatever a "normal" life is right now. God is ultimately in control and worry and stress only cause damage to my health so, all that being said, I'm riding the waves of life as they continue to approach tsunami levels. Just wish my DGI relatives would awaken from their MSM induced comas.

Sorry I wasn't able to ride herd on this today as it closed, but here are the results:

The 34th Prepper Anxiety Poll ends up at a score of 2.41, which is up by a fair amount. In fact, it is the third highest score recorded since these polls began in June 2004, missing the tying the #2 spot by .01. The number of total votes was also extremely high...over 100 more votes this poll than #33.

I will conduct the next poll at a random time in the future.

As always, thanks for voting and commenting.
