Last week I asked for prayers for a job interview I was going on. Well, I got that job and while I was thankful for it, I wasn't very excited. But today I got THE job I have been praying for and wanted to say thank you one and all for keeping me in your prayers.
Hang in there folks. The only thing that I did differently was to make a great resume with all my certs and things, packed it into a plastic portfolio and hand-delivered to every manager that I could find - elevators, etc - If you were wearing a tag that said "manager" I stopped you. Intro'd myself and told them I was looking and gave them a resume. Some were taken aback and some were kind and talked for a moment. Some - bleh. But there was this ONE woman that I hit it off with and she's the one that hired me. Of course, I'm way excited and wanted to share the news!
But thanks from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers!!!
p.s. Mods you can move this off main if you need to. I just wanted everyone that was kind enough to pray for me to see it!
