Well, I made it through about four minutes. A black guy is waving his arms and reciting some kind of rhyming narrative. He can't seem to find the camera, so he spends half the time looking the wrong way. The camera is far enough away that the spray from his mouth isn't wetting the lens, which is a plus.

I have better things to do than watch this.

It started out with stats about how in the '60's most black babies, 82%, were born to a married couple. During that time white guilt from the Johnson years, rewarded black women with money for not having a man to support them. When the father was removed, the black boy child had no moral compass. Now this is all from prominent black men being interviewed. They can't stand jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. They can't stand the rap and hip hop music. Abortion is the number one killer of the black race, not aids or heart disease. They deplore black on black killings. They believe the media has successfully put the typical stereotype into their face's head, and the kids bbelieve it and strive for it. The ratio for college vs. Incarcerated is 4 to 1, but the black community itself doesn't know that. Lots more. It was very good. You might not agree with 100% of what they say, but you see a real effort froom these black men to change what is going on in their community.

Too bad you didn't listen to what he was saying. It was a poem that deplored what is going on about how black men are being swayed by their music. It lasted about 5 minutes of 2 hours.it was actually poignant.

Sorry about the way my post came out. I am on my phone and can't see half of what I am writing or if spell check is creating confusion. _

They need a little progress bar in the lower right corner. "The real documentary will start in 5 minutes" with a X so you can close it. "Skip to documentary now".

So we start with five minutes of a rapper deploring rap? Pass.

The simplest solution to most of the social problems in this country is to end welfare as we know it.

Without Uncle Sugar to pay for the kid, black (and white, hispanic, etc.) girls would learn to keep their legs closed.

    Simple, no?

Yes Virginia, the Russians are STILL the bad guys.

This is exactly the link these men make Brutus. And they are sick of hearing racism as an excuse not to further oneself. The anger issue has no place in society either, it gets no one anywhere. They insist the traditional marriage is the answer because it creates a barrier against the ills in society.

Question: What do black men think?
    Answer: Many dont.

Brutus has it right. End welfare for everyone, black, white, brown and red.
You don't make any money, you get real hungry, real fast. Homeless too.
You should have to depend on the charity of churches and other private groups.
Then maybe you would realize that nobody owes you a damned thing.
This is more honest than pretending you have a right to other peoples hard earned money, when you take welfare from the government.

I want to add this as a sidenote, I am Catholic and see how our bishops allowed government to enter our institutions, directing the Church to do their will instead of God's. Everyone has become lazy, lazy, lazy and allowed the govt to pick up all the slack. Our stupid bishops are now scared to death to speak up against the evils in this society all because of receiving financial aid and losing tax exempt status. Same goes for the welfare people, they know this isn't good and helping themselves but they have become slaves to their welfare cards. Their masters are their elected officials. This point was well made in the documentary....it all comes down to free money. It is the root of all evil, truly.

If the companies and the government hadn't sent all the jobs over seas there would be jobs so people could earn a living. The unions drove wages and especially benefits and pensions to unsustainable levels that many companies had no choice by to relocate to stay competitive due to free trade agreements put in place by our government. As Ronald Reagan said "Government is the problem".

    Short-term thinking always bites back.
