Just to clarify, though, what I mentioned was *wooly nylon*- it's a fuzzy, stretchy nylon thread which relaxes back to give excellent coverage for satin stitching and other decorative (and functional) overcast type stitches. It doesn't contain any wool.

That's a neat site, but wow! Their prices are a bit... steep! I wonder if you could find wool thread anywhere else for a better price? If not- well, you'll pay what they ask! But the true wonder of the internet is how easy it is to find some amazing deals, if you've got the time and patience to do some serious web searching.

Oh, I want to get my sewing room organized and get busy sewing and quilting again SO bad. But we just completely stripped our bedroom and installed new flooring- finally! (found the stuff at a GREAT price almost 2 years ago, and it's been sitting here ever since. Our oldest son came to visit, and since none of the kids likes to sit around, he wanted a "list" of things we wanted help with. Installing that floor was on the very top of my list! What a job, though). Now, as soon as I get the radiator baseboard painted, and a hole in the wall patched (oops- he slipped when trying to jam a recalcitrant piece of flooring in place!), and we get the furniture back in place, we need to empty our office (right outside the bedroom) and put the flooring there as well. That will FINALLY finish all the floors on the first floor of the house- exactly 30 years after we rebuilt after the house fire!

Hopefully, by the time we get everything finished and organized (and getting everything organized has been THE priority for me for my "preps" for this year... not adding anything else until I've got everything taken care of that we already have) I'll be able to get back to my sewing.

I need to print out every tip that Summer gives me. There is SOOOOO much info in each one. I have been trying to take notes, but printing them out will be much better. My handwriting isn't good anymore. Too many hits to this old bod. :-) I knew that wool thread wasn't what you had mentioned but it was the first wool thread I have seen. Good for coats of wool or suits?? A huge hug going your way. Your floors must be wonderful. Would love to see it when you get a chance. A picture??
