I don't have the capability to do chat, but I can give you two reasons for concern about Romney, that may or may not be covered by others engaged in that chat:

1, Romney is completely NEUTERED when it comes to fighting Obozocare. ANY OTHER REPUBLICAN OR EVEN RINO could fight against Obozocare. But not Romney, because it was HIS Rombozocare in Massachusetts that allowed the "test run" for Obozocare. How can he fight something that he put into place even before Obozo?

    and

2, Have you noticed that -- more and more -- the law is being used against whites? Especially white Christians?

Well, first of all, Mormons consider themselves Christians.

Maybe you do, maybe you don't. But I assure you that Mitt and other Mormons DO consider themselves Christians.

Now, this is NOT the time to debate whether they are or not, so PLEASE DO NOT GET SIDETRACKED HERE! Follow where I'm going with this.

Mormons -- clear up until the year 1978 -- and most certainly including the years that Mitt was a Mormon Missionary, officially representing the Mormon church, plus his early years as a Mormon Bishop as well --

Mormons categorically and systematically barred blacks from holding the priesthood -- which ALL other male Mormons are allowed to hold. They categorically and systematically barred blacks from going to the temple, which is something that a Mormon is REQUIRED to do in order to go to the Celestial Kingdom (what other Christians call "heaven"), and the LDS church had an official and written policy NOT to send missionaries to teach and to serve in the continent of Africa (with the exception of white South Africa and the white areas of Rhodesia), because of the fact that they would be serving, teaching and baptising primarily blacks.

    People remember.

You don't think that Obozo, Holder, and others won't use the claim of racism on Romney to NEUTER him in any and all ways they see fit, given his history as an official representative of the LDS church during this period of formal and overt, official racism?

And if Romney ever did get elected, he could not turn around the blatent racist policies snuck into place by folks like Eric Holder, least this once again be flung in his face.

What in the HELL are the Republicans thinking, putting Romney in place to run against Obozo, given these two facts?????

the republicans and democrats are the same coin just two different faces... they are just putting a face in the race to continue the tradition of mucking up this country as they have been doing quite well for the last 60 or so years...

I notice much past tense in your diatribe.

Perhaps this is a case of "That was then this is now." where NOW is much more egalitarian than then???

Sorry, but church policy on Blacks has nothing to do with Romney. He had no more effect on policy than a "line Catholic" would in Catholicism. Church policy is set in SLC by the First Presidency. Period.

Here's a Washington Times article about Ryan's voting record. Good on 2nd Amendment and pro-life.

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...=all#pagebreak

Rep. Paul Ryan, Republicans’ presumptive vice presidential nominee, has amassed a very conservative voting record during his seven terms in Congress, including repeated votes against spending bills, unemployment benefit extensions and most of President Obama’s agenda.

But he also voted for some of the major parts of the Bush administration that have drawn fire, including the No Child Left Behind education bill, and the 2003 Medicare prescription drug law that added a new entitlement to the government’s books without finding a way to pay for it.

He also voted for the Wall Street bailout in 2008, which has become a a flashpoint for both ends of the political spectrum.

His chief breaks with most Republicans usually came on spending bills, where he regularly voted against his party leadership when they controlled the chamber before 2007. In 1999 he voted against expanding the Peace Corps, and voted against expanding debt relief to impoverished nations.

Mr. Ryan voted for the Patriot Act and later voted to preserve federal authorities’ ability under that law to seek library records in their investigations — a major test point for the legislation.

But he’s also had some more pointed dissents, including being one of relatively few House Republicans to vote for a bill that would have outlawed workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation, the Employment Nondiscrimination Act.

And he has voted to halt some of the strict U.S. sanctions against Cuba, siding with many Democrats and the likes of Rep. Jeff Flake, an Arizona Republican who represents the GOP’s libertarian wing.

On social issues, he voted to end federal funding for both NPR and Planned Parenthood as part of the GOP’s spending fights last year.

He maintains an A rating from the National Rifle Association, which backs Second Amendment rights.

He earned a 0 percent liberal score from Americans for Democratic Action, a left-leaning advocacy group, for their most recent scorecard, and has a lifetime 92 percent rating from the American Conservative Union.

He has signed Americans for Tax Reform’s pledge, which commits him to opposing any legislation that increases taxes, as officiated by ATR’s chief, Grover Norquist.

He voted against expanding embryonic stem-cell research, and has amassed a decidedly pro-life record. National Right to Life said he voted pro-life 78 times out of the 78 votes he’s cast on their issue.

On jobs and labor, he voted against extending unemployment benefits without offsetting their costs, but he also was one of the relatively few Republicans to vote to preserve the Davis-Bacon labor rules in military construction spending earlier this year, which gives preference to unionized labor.

He has a 90 percent lifetime rating from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, with most of his mark-downs coming because he voted against government spending as a way to produce jobs — including opposing Mr. Obama’s 2009 stimulus.

He was also one of less than three dozen Republicans who in 2007 backed Democrats‘ plan to require at least 15 percent of electricity in each state come from renewable fuels — a program the Chamber called unworkable.

Still, he’s not considered an environmentalist by any stretch: The League of Conservation Voters gave him a 24 percent lifetime rating in its most recent full-year scorecard.

  8. He might be good on the 2nd amend. himself but he has aligned himself with the only candidate in the race that has gone ahead and signed gun control/ban legislation. So really how good can he be?

BTW, Shinmen Takezo will be joining us after the 1st hour to give his own take on things,,,join us if you think you can keep up.

    Agreed.

HOWEVER, the fact that Romney did not set the policy, nor did he have any say concerning it (let's face it, it was in effect about 100 years before Romney went off on his mission) will NOT stop folks from using his church membership to further their political agendas. If they can call him a racist because of his time as a missionary for a church that clearly discriminated against blacks -- or even just guilt him into NOT reversing the racist policies that Eric Holder has placed in to effect over in the Justice Dept -- they will do it.

Since when can you expect honesty or integrity or fair play in the political arena?

So if someone was new to the forum and did not know the leanings of the forum, just by reading your post, they would conclude that you are an Obama supporter.
You seem much more intent on attacking him than Obama. Don't say you hate both equally because in your post you only talk about one.

Dennis at least spits and throws up in his mouth a little when he hears either of their names

  12. No I hate the Marxist Pig even more....in a different way. I hate the Neocon pretenders, the RINO fakes and frauds because they are just the other side of the same anti freedom coin...in sheeps clothing if you will.

The Marxist Pig is what he is, I expect nothing more or less from him....understand?

And How many Obozo supporters do you know that use the words Neocon or for that matter RINO?

Not sure that dumbtarded bunch even knows what that means.

Yep. Be a tough sell especially where it ended before most oboingo voters were born.

Good points BarryN, never thought of that as part of the circus act to be presented.

What in the HELL are the Republicans thinking, putting Romney in place to run against Obozo, given these two facts?????
And then you go and disappoint me. We've been telling you over and over and over again, there is no such thing as "the republicans" when it comes to the RNC, they are all part of the same boys club, globalist hugging culls, and will do as they are told. Have you not noticed the obvious choices they have made, especially these last two election cycles? mccain?!?! A freaking NWO fascist liberal communist 'democrat'??? Helloooo. The only person they could have scraped off the bottom of the pond that could conceivably be worse? rombama. Chosen to appear to lose and because of his invention of rombamney death care. You don't still think they actually count votes now do you?

Well, frell it-I'm about ready to vote for O simply to get the show going. Don't want to be too frelled up to enjoy the dance, you know?

Since the bad guys own both parties why keep fighting to save what once was-shove it off the cliff and light the fire and take as many of them with you are you can.

The media set this up from the beginning of the republican campaign. They absolutely destroyed all other viable real conservative candidates, starting with Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, Santorum, etc, (and ignored Ron Paul) and NEVER called any bogus negative b.s. on Willard, because they knew he'd be the weakest candidate. Then once the real presidential campaign would start, they will simply destroy him with crap like this ancient history black/Mormon stuff, his wife's horse, the bad haircut, etc.

and of course, no major publication would ever mention the Obamanation's fake SSI number, etc.

    Amazing!

I figured it out back in 2000 -- that the Republicraps and the Democons are both controlled by the same "man behind the curtain."

Which is, of course, why the powers behind the scene have chosen Romney -- of all people -- to be the token Republicrap candidate.

There IS no real difference between Obozo and Romney, other than their official political party affiliation and their skin color !

Both are controlled by the same unseen PTB.

Yes, actually I do know that.

But not everybody does, so sometimes, I pose questions like in the above post, for those folks who have not (or will not) recognize that the Republicraps and the Democons are just two sides of the same coin, and controlled by the same powers that be.

I don't understand anything I read on this forum. RomneyCare is a classic 10th Amendment activity. He gets up and flatly states that RC is OK for Massachusetts but North Dakota ought to have the right to determine what DakotaCare is best for them rather than have O/Care dictate it. I am astounded that you 10th Amendment supporters have not noticed that.
