Special Activities
XLT: A Time of Eucharistic Adoration – 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
We would like to specifically invite your teens to come and celebrate an XLT, a time of Eucharistic Adoration, praise and prayer with dynamic music and preaching by Bishop Rodger Gries and a representative from Life Teen International. The XLT will be from 4:30 – 5:30 pm in our air-conditioned Adoration Chapel. It will be preceded and followed by opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and one-on-one visits with religious sisters and brothers representing over 30 orders from around the country.
“Radiating Joy in Youth Ministry: Practices and Resources to Bring Youth Closer to Christ.”
Randy Raus (3:00pm – 3:30 pm)
While your teens are growing in faith, you and your adult volunteers are invited to attend a break-out session with Randy Raus, president of Life Teen International, and learn practices that will help your youth exude “Radiant Joy” in the world. This specially focused session will feature youth ministry best practices and preview new ministry resources for your parish’s youth ministry program. Come join us and leave armed with those little extra tools for success.
Royce Hood: In 2009 Royce moved to Naples Florida to begin his studies at Ave Maria School of Law. Surrounded by a mixture of faith and reason and inspired by love, Royce started recording Faith, Hope, Love. Royce wrote the album in an effort to cross over into the mainstream and to inspire as many listeners as possible.
Fr. Mark Mary, co-host of EWTN’s Life on the Rock, will be at the FEST this year at the EWTN booth. We’re bringing a camera to rove the grounds and conduct interviews as well and to meet with visitors.
