65-year-old woman with gun terrifies 5 would-be jewelry store robbers
YOU GO, GRANNY!!!
(didn't see this posted--did a search; heard it on tonight's news broadcast)
I howled with laughter over the sight of 5 big sons of Obama falling all over themselves and each other as they SCRAMBLED to flee from a little old granny-lady with a BIG OLD GUN as she stalked them down during an attempted robbery.

Police are still looking for five would-be robbers who were chased away from a Garden Grove jewelry store by a 65-year-old woman who fired at the suspects.
The attempted heist occurred Sunday at Continental Jewelry in the 12000 block of Brookhurst Street. Surveillance footage from the store shows a white SUV backing up to the front of the building and five men getting out, pillowcases in hand.
The men rush to the front of the counter and point handguns at the clerks and a customer. Seconds later the shots are fired and the men race back to the door, fighting to get out as the woman runs after them.
The SUV left before three of the suspects made it back inside the vehicle. Police said they were picked up about a block away.
Nothing was taken from the store and no one was hurt.
The incident marks the second time in a week that an Orange County store owner has used a gun to thwart a robbery. On Monday, two men attempted to rob a watch shop at Westminster's Asian Garden Mall, only to be stopped by a store owner who shot one of the suspects in the head. Both men were later apprehended by police.
Authorities said they don't know if the incidents are related, but cautioned store owners in using guns to protect themselves.
"Just like a police officer, when you fire that weapon and those rounds go down range, you have to be accountable for where those rounds end up," said Garden Grove police Lt. Jeff Nightengale.
The only "change" I CAN believe in: I Corinthians 15: 51-52!
Considering the distances involved and the tight packing of the suspects at the door, Granny was definitely showing a lot of restraint, else she needs to start going to the range and practicing more regularly.
nah i don't reckon it was the shooting that scared them off, it was the vicious attack Yorkshire Terrier, who wants to mess with 2lbs of snarling yorkie

Anybody else notice that they warn the store owners, but don't warn potential criminals?
Earth is bootcamp for eternity.
The Social Security number is a bigger threat to Liberty than Communism or Osama bin Laden.
The advantage to being a pessimist is that you are often pleasantly surprised.
What I love is how they're falling all over themselves, like the Keystone Cops, trying to get OUT of there after she fired 2 shots at them!
Like the two Obama Youth in the Florida internet cafe a couple of weeks ago, who were falling over one another to escape when the 71-year old dude whipped out his .380 and lit them up. Love it!
I think they were running from all the cops that showed up immediately.
Oh.... and it is disappointing she did not poke some holes in those hides. Evenrunning away, I would shoot until I had to load the next magazine and if I still had targets I would be plinking them. Those animals had guns. They came to a game armed and ready to do damage. They left still armed and dangerous. They were valid targets all the way.
When the cops arrive, I make it clear that I get the guns after the trial. When I shoot an attacker, what is left is mine. So juss gibsmedat.
The more this happens, the less these creeps will be trying this sort of crime. They'll have to scope out liberal owned stores to find easy marks that view them as misguided and offer up valuables that the thieves may have missed because the bums are underprivileged and need it.
Actually, that WAS a very reasonable warning. He didn't say to not protect themselves- just that it's their responsibility as gun owners/users to make sure they know where their bullets are going to end up. I expected to hear something like "just because you own a gun legally doesn't mean you should use it- call 911 and let us handle it".
That was BEAUTIFUL! We need to see lots more of this.
With all respect to LE present - and I do have great respect for you - citizens fighting back will be a helluva lot more effective than what the cops can do afterward. We need to see a lot more dead perps and vigilante justice. Screw being "civilized" and letting the law handle it. "The law" isn't working. Time to take the streets back from thugs as violently as possible.
No, I'm not being sarcastic. Violence is all the thugs understand. No amount of laws or cops will fix this. Heads on pikes as a warning to others might.
That was hilarious when they were trying to get out the door! And notice the police spokesperson did say that you certainly have a right to defend yourself.
If we aren't showing a little love, His love, then what are we doing calling ourselves Christians?
Psalm 73: 25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.

Since when are the cops responsible for anything they do???!!!
"Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
Protesting is like scratching a chalk board. It annoys but produces nothing of substance.
