Can that choice be any more boring? Romney needs all of the help he can get to beat the machine as it is, and in my ipinion name recognition needs to be a BIG factor to get the average voter's attention.

Their positions on nearly every issue are virtually identical, and Rombama is hugely vulnerable to attacks based on his record in Mass. Further, a more boring, stuffy, out-of-touch "multi-millionaire elite" individual couldn't possibly be found (hes literally a republican Kerry, and do you remember what we said abiut HIM?) The man has not a shred of charisma, credibility or ability. In short, he's perfect to run and lose against Obmaney.

There are a couple of big negatives that Portman is carrying, probably the largest being his service in the Bush Administration. The other being the he makes Tim Pawlenty look like Jay Leno in the personality department!
I'm not too sure on this one, but I didn't see Sarah Palin coming, either.

From now on, I believe the Repubs should be referred to as Abbot and Costello, because the Romney campaign is such a joke, it is just a sad comedy routine at this point, I have no sympathy for the Repubs when they lose in November, none at all. I wish you robama folks would wake up and realize this is all being done on purpose. There are literally thousands of more qualified, good, conservative America loving republicans out there who would have been obama beating better choices, but no, the globalist run RNC chose the white obama. It's a win/win for them, they get the Destroyer of America in either person people think they are choosing at the ballot box. And still, some will vote for globalism. Very sad.
At least voting off party would show the globalists the fight they are in for when TSHTF-they already have their choice ready for presentation via the MSM in November.

Dennis, I'm curious what gave you that opinion of Pawlenty. I agree there is nothing particulary compelling about him as a VP nominee, but I always got a good vibe from him as a person. He was quite friendly when my daughter and I approached him for a picture at a volleyball tournament. I've never known anyone who has had an encounter with him come away with the impression that he was arrogant or elitist.
I worked for a state agency, 400 yards from the capitol bldg. Some of the work I did was directly related to legislative bills, and the associated database and in-work status reports. We got "insider info" on him all the time.
That's what I was thinking! Natalie Portman is the only Portman I know.
Isn't the usual way these things are done is to wait till one is actually nominated at the convention first and then announce your choice as a running mate? And doesn't the convention start August 27th? That's a good three weeks plus away. A lot could happen between now and then.

2013 is when the fiat money starts to run out for social programs. In order to keep funding the urban mob cuts will have to be made in Defense, which will help China in particular. Obama can sell cuts to the urban mob better than Romney could. Austerity will be the new focus in the second Obama administration. This "austerity" will be paired with massive tax increases on "the wealthy" as well as a vigorous effort to increase fascist central government control. Assuming Holder isn't impeached, which he may be as a sop when the replotards lose the presidential election, we can expect rapid movement on: the UN gun control effort, further restrictions on travel and movement, massive tax increases and enforcement agents, de facto illegal immigration legalization and finally, open ended and large scale attacks on "domestic terrorists."

starting to AWAKE, are we? IT'S ALL UNDER CONTROL. LOL. Been aware, for a long time, when as CPO Naval Supply, started noticing the anomoly that USA and Russian specs on such mundane details as fuel tank drop points, hydraulic fittings, electrical fittings, were very similar. Oil Well.
Now, IF ONLY we could drill another 10k feet below the two wells in N Maine that were abandoned with finding of natural gas @ 32k feet, to get to the possibly unlimited oil beneath, and go elsewhere, we wouldn't need mideast oil, nor the residue of the cold war. Please note the remaining of those times, Iran, Syria, for starters, were soviet clients. Time to drop out?
