    5 Looking for a story.

There was a story that started on the Frugal board just before it went away, and I was hoping it was posted somewhere else.

It was about a couple that retired from the east coast to a farm. The husband stayed at the old house while it was being sold and he packed it up. He still had a little time to go before he retired. They moved some stuff on the weekends. They had the local teenagers help them unload and get this and that done at the new place. There was not much more of the story than that.

The old farmer and his wife(i think) moved closer to his children out west somewhere in a retirement community.

Anybody remember? Or know if it had been finished?

I remember it but can't think of the title off hand.

WAB54 - I remember the story pretty well but have no idea what the title is....I very well may have it in my READ FILE but the file is very large...checked it last night and none of the titles rang any bells...if someone can remember the title....maybe I can find my copy....

As I recall, living in the country was the wife's dream, husband worked in HVAC business I think...they found a place within a day's drive of where they were, bought it from an old couple that moved into town/rest home....Husband and wife packed up everything except a few things that husband needed to have while he stayed at the house until it sold...He stayed employed until the house sold and then retired and moved to the new place...they had two daughters with them...early teens. New town had a great church that they attended...got help from the church youth group...new place had a barn and few other out buildings...That's what comes to mind anyway....

Anyone have any ideas what the title is?

That sounds like the story. I had wanted to read that story. It started out good but it all went away.

Hope someone can remember it, because it sounds like something I'd love to read.
If we aren't showing a little love, His love, then what are we doing calling ourselves Christians?

Psalm 73: 25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart
    and my portion forever.
