US led embargo of Iranian oil, Iran third largest oil producer in world.
If crude is going up. Thats a VERY good sign that the speculators KNOW somthing is going down. And thus, they place their bets. Follow the money!
I doubt it's anything more than short covering and tons of digital dollars running out looking for risk due to the supposed EU deal.
