Photographed Dr. John MacArthur of "Grace to You"

Had the privilege to photograph Dr. John MacArthur. John MacArthur is the pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, as well as an author, conference speaker, president of The Master’s College and Seminary, and featured teacher with the Grace to You media ministry.

Matthew 6:12 - And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. 1Thessalonians 4-16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

I listened to him carefully for many years in the 80's, and even have several tape cassette series around here somewhere. God Bless him.

John MacArthur, the most Biblically sound teaching I have ever heard.

very nice pic. You have a gift for catching the perfect moment.
"Is it reasonable to expect wisdom from the ignorant? Fidelity from the profligate? Assiduity and application to public business from men of a dissipated life? Is it reasonable to commit the management of public revenue to one who has wasted his own patrimony? Those, therefore, who pay no regard to religion and sobriety in the persons whom they send to the legislature of any State are guilty of the greatest absurdity and will soon pay dear for their folly." --John Witherspoon,

Those are outstanding photos. Very nice work.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

  13. Gotta say, really respect this man. He is sort of my Grandpa in the Lord. He was my old youth pastor's (later senior pastor) Mentor. That pastor took me under his wing from the time I was in Jr. High School and used to give me rides to church. He is the one who introduced me to MacArthur's tape library and eventually John himself. But the main thing...have you been to Grace Community? You have to park 3 blocks away and hike in, unless you are early. I don't live in that part of the Country any longer, but it warms my heart to see so many flocking in to see uncompromising preaching. John eschews pop preaching and they even practice church discipline as taught in Matthew. John does not teach compomise or soft-pedal preach, yet folks pour in the learn the Word. This is a very rare thing in America today. John is the anti-Osteen, if I may be so crude. He is very loving and uncompromising at the same time. Ready to point out error and ready to forgive. There is much to admire about his walk.

Nice photo indeed. Thanks so much for sharing. Like going through the old photo album.
