Sugar and spice and everything nice?

The United States House of Representatives rejected a bill yesterday that would have banned sex-selection abortion in the United States. The Prenatal Nondescrimination Act (PRENDA) fell during a 246-178 vote. What this means now is that gender-based abortion is legal in America. Earlier this week, a pro-life group released a video showing that Planned Parenthood is complicit in gendercide utilizing taxpayer dollars. We are fast becoming China.
Female infanticide has been prevalent in China for more than 30 years. Chinese couples have been encouraged by the Chinese government to marry and bear children later in life. Urban couples are limited to one child, while couples living in rural areas may have two. Now that millions of sibling-less people in China are now young adults in or nearing their child-bearing years, a special provision allows millions of couples to have two children legally. If a couple is composed of two people without siblings, then they may have two children of their own, thus preventing too dramatic of a population decrease, according to Matt Rosenberg.
“For some women, the first thing that they look forward to when they find out they are pregnant is their ultrasound gender determination appointment. Doctors will schedule an ultrasound appointment approximately around the 20th week of pregnancy. The main point of this ultrasound is to look for any abnormalities with the baby or the uterus that may cause problems with the pregnancy. Although, that is the main reason behind the test, finding out the gender of the baby is very close behind finding out if the baby is healthy (fortunebaby.com).”
So, what are the realities of gender-based abortion besides millions of future males being unable to find a mate? One harsh reality is that babies at this stage of gestation may react to sounds, familiar voices, and music. Twenty weeks is five months. Five months. Fingernails and toenails are growing and hair has started growing on the body. The skin is getting thicker, and the senses are forming in specialized areas of the brain. The heartbeat can now be heard with a stethoscope. Even though the age of viability is 24-26 weeks of gestation, a baby who is rapidly growing could possibly survive if born at this stage, according to statistics from Baby2see.com. So how can this baby not be considered a person? And how can terminating this person’s life not be premeditated murder?
20 Weeks
The real war on women is being waged by the Democrats and it begins with their children . . . their female children. And it’s being waged with taxpayers’ money. Barack Obama, who said that if his girls made a mistake that he did not want them to be punished with a baby, has yet to speak out against this practice. Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly has denounced the practice as barbaric. Well, Bill, abortion is barbaric.
