(ii) Are you truly Dead OR Alive?

Dear Mr. Jacob,

Thank you for your e-mail. I must confess that I really do not know of Mrs. Cynthia Edwards, nor have I authorized her to have anything to do with my personal finances. As to your second question, I was on vacation this weekend, on the cruise ship Costa Concordia when the ship had some sort of accident and rolled onto it's right side. The ship's steward advised me to go to my stateroom and wait there for word from the captain of what to do next, but the ship continued to settle in the water and my cabin, 1433 on the Doria Deck, submerged, trapping me. I attempted to escape but, alas, I was unable to and subsequently succumbed to hypothermia.

Currently I am listed as "missing", but search activities on the ship have been stopped since it has become unstable. I am waiting here in a spiritual state, but oddly enough, electronic communications, even through my soaked laptop computer are still possible for me. How long this will last I cannot say, but I will continue to communicate with you for as long as possible.
