This diagram appeared in the 1987 edition of the New Science and Invention Encyclopedia published by H.S. Stuttman, Westport, Connecticut, USA. The article was discussing the purpose of the Pioneer 10 and 11 space probes. Clearly shown is “Nemesis” a popular name for our sun’s binary companion, a dead star. (Binary solar systems are apparently the rule in our galaxy, not the exception.). Why does this diagram clearly shows the approximate location of Planet X (a.k.a. the 10th or 12th Planet)? Planet X is presented as a matter of fact in this respected encyclopedia. Some have suggested the paths of Pioneers 10 and 11 were chosen as to get a triangulated fix on Planet X, a suggestion this chart would support.

Is that a conventional science mag? Or one associated with psychics and astrology? I am only asking because I never heard of our dead star binary companion before.

If you go and do a Google search on "New Science and Invention Encyclopedia" all you get are references to this diagram.
This would suggest that the New Science and Invention Encyclopedia is a fictional publication used to try to give credence to a non-viable hypothesis.

I can't answer your question but I can say that the diagram as shown is simply incorrect. It is impossible for what it claims to depict to happen. For that reason, I would suspect the whole concept and premiss that it is based on or attempting to depict.

I see the URL is from Zetatalk so I think most of this will fall firmly into the "new science" category - or even into the "plain loopy" category depending.

They're an interesting lot. Several years ago they wrote me about using my FAQ on their site. I never give permission for that without reviewing the site first and when the alien head popped up and I started reading about the earth changes I knew I'd fallen into the Twilight Zone.

Still, for all the fact that these people are in my opinion a wee bit around the bend they are (or were) dead serious about surviving the literal affects of the earth changes they feel are coming and wanted the best info they could find. I let them use bits and pieces of the FAQ and they had a lot of other info of real, practical value as well. Haven't been there to take a look in a couple of years now so I don't know if any of it's left.

Well sure. If you needed to hide the truth then one way would be to place a few references of disinformation in some diverse locations. That these will at a later time be found and used to build a theory about the cyclic destruction seen here on earth. Many will become attrached to this only later to get burnt when said "passage" doesn't occur. In other words it is for derailing any serious attempt at discovering why we encounter these cosmic catastrophes.

Bait and switch, I think they call it.

i know that i first heard about our dead twin and the hidden gas giant sometime in the eighties...the only difference is that in those accounts the eplanet was in an orbit that we would never come close to .....anotherwards no threat just another cool thing in the universe.

I did not find reference to a 1987 version, but I think it is worth a short trip to the library for all interested, to check the reference section. It should be easy to find. Apparently in the 1987 edition it was on page 2488 under the heading space probe.

Zecharia Sitchin, the world renowned scholar, author of
"The 12th Planet" and archeologist, does indicate on
occasion his knowledge of the return of Nibiru AT THIS
TIME!" To be too public about it would prove dangerous

A group of scientists in Russia in year 2000 held several

planets there admitted they've been watching Planet X for

will do to Earth during its passage. The name they gave
for Planet X was "Raja Sun" or "Great Star."

I recently received a call from Canada. Roy was thanking
me for having received my book. His first call to a local
observatory yielded the following results. An intern to
the astronomers answered. Roy asked if she had heard of
Planet X. She said "yes," but told him "she wasn't
supposed to talk about it & the scientists were in
disagreement as to whether it would cause substantial

Father Malachi Martin, eminent theologian, expert on the
Catholic Church, former Jesuit and professor at the

QUESTION

Why would a Polar Magnetic Sift even be noticed by 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the population? I had to leave a certain margin for error. Who knows, someone might even be looking at a compass when it happens.

Mysterious Object Might be First Extrasolar Planet

The coolest, faintest and possibly the smallest "substellar object" ever photographed was announced yesterday, but researchers don't know exactly what they have found.

Observations so far do not allow for a precise
determination of the object's distance, which is
needed to calculate its mass. If it 1,150 light-years away, as suspected, then it lives amid a cluster of stars known as the Sigma
Orionis system, and its mass would be about that of Jupiter.

The object would qualify -- by some definitions --
as a planet. No planet outside our solar system
has ever been photographed. Other Jupiter-mass
planets have been found around other stars, but
they were detected by an indirect method that
notes a gravitational wobble induced in the host
star.

If the newly spotted object, called SOri70, is in fact a planet, it would be a strange one, sitting 36,000 times farther away from any its nearest stellar neighbor than Jupiter is from our Sun.

There is an unresolved debate among experts as to whether an object so far from a star can be called a planet or not. And no one is sure how it might have formed our how it could end up in such a location.

Regardless, researchers say there is a 20 percent chance the object is closer to us, and thus it would be much more massive and classified as a brown dwarf, one that is not bound to any star.

Brown dwarfs are typically many times heavier than Jupiter, but they are not massive enough to trigger the thermonuclear fusion that powers a real star. Brown dwarfs have been found orbiting stars, and other free-floating brown dwarfs have also been detected in recent months.

Researchers say they might be able solve their puzzle by pointing the Hubble Space Telescope at SOri70.

The object was first studied in 1998 by Victor Bejar of Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias, Tenerife, Spain and Eduardo Martin of the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy, using the 10-meter Keck I on Mauna Kea in Hawaii. They looked at it again with the William Herschel Telescope in La Palma (Canary Islands) in
November 2000.

This second observation revealed that the object contained methane, which does not exist in full-blown stars because of their high temperatures. Further observations late last year with the Keck telescope, by Rosa Zapatero Osorio of the Laboratory for Fundamental Astrophysics in Madrid, Spain, confirmed the methane.

Several researchers involved in studying SOri70 are discussing their findings this week at the International Astronomical Union Symposium on Brown Dwarfs in Hawaii.

In general, astronomers have not been optimistic that a planet outside our solar system could be photographed yet. perhaps...but i find it more difficult to believe that in 1987 someone decided to put a piece of obscure disinfo into an even more obscure, yet highly respected, engineering encyclopedia...

in this case i will choose the most likely answer...someone just put it in there for the pioneer probe references, not knowing - or caring - that the x and nemesis references were also in the graphic...

We have the 1982 edition of the Illustrated Science and Invention Encyclopedia, published by Stuttman. In that edition, under the topic Space Probes, there is no such diagram. Perhaps it was added in the 87 edition. We also have the 1987 yearbook (supplement) and there are no such pictures.

BTW, it is not an engineering encyclopedia, it is a home reference for the layman. I got the set for my kids at a garage sale. There are 20 some volumes.

Perhaps the NEW Illustrated Science and Invention Encyclopedia included it.

The pole shift theory that I am familiar with states that there will be a shifting of the Earth’s crust over the molten (liquid) core as much as 90 degrees causing global catastrophes like nothing mankind has ever witnessed. Entire continents would be reshaped and relocated.

I do no know if it has happened in the past, just like I do not know why there is radioactive glass in an area of India where no modern nuclear testing has ever occurred.

It is one theory that attempts to explain why there are flash frozen Mastodons in the Northern Artic with tropical vegetation in their stomachs and why there are preserved tropical seashells in some the 6000 foot high limestone peaks of the Rockies. There is some research into combining “ice age” theory and “pole shift” theory to explain why the continents are in their present locations and why the ice cores in the artic still produce samples that are presumed to be hundreds of thousands of years old.

IMHO, the theory that states that “we evolved from apes” is utter nonsense, but I continue to read the theories and arguments on all sides because I am interested in the subject. If there is a picture that turns up in an obscure science encyclopedia that shows military men loading a saucer shaped craft onto an unmarked jumbo jet, that would also captivate my attention.

The picture doesn’t validate the argument of pole shift theory. It corroborates it, again IMHO.

I went to Bookfinders.com and did a search using H. S. Stutton, Inc. as the author...

The results show that there is "The Illustrated Science and Invention Encyclopedia: How Things Work" with either 21 or 23 volumes (depending on if it is the 1977 or 1983 edition) and "The New Illustrated Science and Invention Encyclopedia" with 26 volumes. This is the 1989 edition. As you can see, there is no 1987 edition of this encyclopedia. Therefore, the citation for the illustration is bogus.

I have listened to your program off and on for around two years now, whenever I get "down-time". I have some disturbing information and I fell that your program would be the perfect vehicle with which to distribute what I have.

I have been under the employ of the Vatican for over five years. I have done what could best be described as counter-intelligence work, for the church. I am a man of God and please believe me when I tell you that the information I have is genuine, and very serious.

Without going into too much detail about my former employers, I will briefly tell you that I have had a Top Level security clearance in the Vatican for quite some time. Most of the work I have done regrettably falls into the realm of "black-ops", and I will not go into detail about that now.

Around six months ago, I was working at a data terminal in a highly restricted area following a case that I had just completed, when I stumbled onto something that nearly made my heart stop. Please pay attention here, this is where it gets strange.

I uncovered a heavily encrypted sub-system that was suprisingly well hidden. I found that it was only accessible through the terminal I was at, and one other terminal.(I must point out that the area I was in was not an area that I routinely used.) After two minute of trying to getinto the system, the whole lab shut itself down and I was booted off the terminal. Not wanting to raise any eyebrows, I decided to leave and come back later that night. The strange thing was, when I came back, there were ARMED guards standing sentry outside of the lab. I must say that it is not unusual to see guards roaming the Vatican, but it is very unusual for them to stand sentry at a lab, much less while armed.

Over the next month, I managed to slip in unnoticed only once. And after I had found what I came for, I understood the security.

It took me a good deal of time to break into the system, and when I did, I wished I hadn't. When I entered the system, I came across a file titled "WORMWOOD?".(Yes, with a question mark.) Thinking it to be a text file, I brought up the file with the intent of corying so I could read it later. What happened next was truly remarkable. The file sort of "deteriorated" into a series of command lines that lasted approximately two minutes. Once it was done running, there it was.

I had found a direct link-up to the Hubble space telescope. Not only that, but it was pointed directly at the comet Hale-Bopp. The program was running some kind of analysis. Taking directional notes, projecting path of travel, etc. After realizing what I had discovered, I started searching and came across an e-mail data trail that led directly to the office of the Pope himself. What was discussed, I cannot know.

Over the next two weeks, I began to uncover evidence that the Vatican is very aware of the existence of the companion, and is VERY worried about it. I began to copy files and pictures that were present at the terminal, when I found a report from the United Nations to the Vatican, as well as a report from NASA regarding their concerns.

It is very obvious to me that a great many people and entities know of the companion and are doing their best to keep quiet. VERY quiet. As the next part of my story illustrates.

I had found another file that I wanted to look at, but it was independently encrypted. At the time that I discovered it, I had already been online at the terminal for some time, so I decided to copy the file encrypted, and decode it at my leisure. As I was leaving the lab, I was approached by two of the Pope's top aides and was asked to meet them later in the evening. I didn't feel comfortable about the situation, so I agreed and told them that I needed to shower, and would join them later. I haven't been back to the Vatican since.

I found out about a week later through some old friends and contacts that a contract had bee placed on my life. Two days later my mother and father were killed in a car crash in France. I appologize for having been gone for so long. I was unavoidably detoured for a number of weeks. I am fine. I have been recovering from a gunshot wound that I received around Christmas time. The bullet, near as I can tell was not meant to kill me, but to cripple me. The bullet missed my spinal chord by approximately 4 centimeters. But folks. The illustration shows something that is impossible. It is just plain wrong. Wether or not the Planet X exists (and there is a lot of very good information that sais that it CANNOT exist), the drawing is wrong. Even if the planet and stuff was there the Drawing is still impossible.

And it doesn't matter whether or not you believe we descended from apes (and I know of no one who has ever suggested that), DNA says that both we and the apes descended from a common ancestor. That is not a matter of opinion, that is a matter of a preponderance of evidence.

And there is NO indication that the land mass of the earth suddenly wandered all over the place. Just no evidence at all. The ice cores are another really silly issue. Why is there any mystery surrounding them. Same story for sea shells at mountain tops. And there is no big issue about the "Nuclear Glass" in India. Just so happens that it is also produced during a meteor strike and is found all over the world.

There just is no mystery in any of the things that you've mentioned.

I don't see anyone pointing out this possibility so here I go.

What if someone wanted to find out if there were any other large members of our solar system and this was a way to test for them?
Send out two probes in opposite directions and watch their speed and so forth for a few decades to see if there was a change beyond what was predicted. The probes were for other things and this was a minor component of their mission. Someone drew up the concept and someone else intentionaly or accidently forwarded this graphic to a company where it was included in the encyclopedia.
It doesn't have to mean that there is anything out there, just that someone was looking.

I have posted before that if there was anything of any great concern lurking around in in close proximity to this solar system that there would be all sorts of clues to it in the orbital elements of the planets and their moons. There is all sorts of circumstantial evidence of large gravity objects having passed by in the remote reaches of time but no serious evidence of an object in a repeating orbit. Rouges probably have seriously disterbed this solar system many times in the past and on a somewhat regular basis, but no one has found any evidence of a predictable pattern that I can see.
Velikovsky's books about Jupiter coughing up a planet from time to time seem to be more of a possibility and would be all but a random event.

No one yet has explained how Saltwater got 15,000 ft up into a andes lake where there is a five thousand year old civilization under that water........... The purpose of this document is to shed some relevant light on the multitude of claims and counterclaims, information and disinformation surrounding the alleged passage of Planet "X" by Earth´s proximity in the Spring of 2003.

How do we propose to do this without having to write up an evaluation for each claim and counter claim? As we always do - Standing back and taking an overall view of the situation and how it matches with what xxx xx xxxx is aware of regarding the End of These Times.


BACKGROUND

The general rumor-concensus is that a very large planet or dwarf brown star, which has a very large elliptical orbit about the Sun, will pass close enough to Earth in the Spring of 2003 to cause apocalyptic magnitude floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc.

It is also claimed that governmental authorities are aware of this alleged event and are covering up the truth (after scientific documents and news reports were published only to be later retracted) for fear of panic on a global scale.

We have taken the necessary time to review some of the key documents published regarding this issue. As expected, we noticed a greater marketing effort for survival supplies and books than an honest effort to inform, in a professional manner, the general public.

Therefore, we will attempt to illuminate the general public regarding this very sensitive matter. The reader may want to consider this document and its links as a self standing and self validating Last Will and Testament since, as each event manifest itself, the confidence in the fulfillment of the sequential prophecies will increase.


DETAILS

Assuming that some of the claims associated with the Planet "X" are true, we should indeed expect....

1. A cover up by governmental and religious authorities to avoid mass chaos while they figure out what to do to minimize the world wide damage. [This is to be expected and, to a certain extent, reasonable.]

2. Unusual volcanic, seismic and climatic activities. [Information is available for all to see.]

3. Efforts by Survival Equipment merchants to promote their products. [Temptation to exaggerate OR NOT exists - A consequence of our fallen nature.]

4. Efforts by the New World Order masters to harness such event to fulfill their objective. [Although quite intelligent, arrogance blind them to the obvious - It is God Who has/is/will have the last word.]

What can the "man and woman in the street" do to find out the truth and then act in accordance to the guidance of the Spirit of God?

We hope, through the Grace of God, to be of assistance through the publication of this document.


FINDINGS

Because the Spring of 2003 is a very possible date for such an event to occur and fits perfectly into the End of These Times timetable that xxx xx xxxx has been aware of for some time, we checked into the obvious: Changes in seismic activity.

Many changes in natural events can be glossed over with lame excuses. They can also be underreported by a controlled press. All except one... Seismic activity.

Seismic activity is accurately recorded worldwide and reported as matter-of-fact information by the appropriate governmental agencies. The media controllers do not think that "anyone out there" is capable of discerning a conclusive pattern.

If the Planet "X" story is close to the truth, then, it is a scientific reality that, as it approaches the Earth, its enormous gravitational pull will greatly increase the seismic activity in our planet. Therefore, we analyzed the published seismic data from 1980 to date.


Results
Without going into the mathematical derivations which may be found elsewhere, when we compared the energy released as the result of earthquakes for the 1995-2001 period with the energy released for the 1980-1994 period, on the average, we found out that there has been a 200% increase in the amount of energy released as the result of seismic activity.

The level of energy released by an earthquake determines the level of destruction it may cause.


Presenting the results in other terms...
If we express such increase in the energy released in terms of "number of equivalent earthquakes of a 5.0-5.9 Richter Scale strength" we can say that...

There was an increase of 43.67% in "equivalent 5.0-5.9 earthquakes" in the 1990-1994 period over the 1980-1989 period; and
There was an increase of 91.16% in "equivalent 5.0-5.9 earthquakes" in the 1995-2001 period over the 1990-1994 period.

These rates of increase in the seismic activity, even allowing for the errors incurred from the over simplification of the mathematical model, are significant enough to serve as a sign that indeed there is something seen or not yet seen that is affecting, in a major way, our planet. Generally speaking, only major changes in gravitational pull can cause such an increase in seismic activity.

This is something that we cannot blame El Niño nor the Ozone Layer nor the alleged world overpopulation for.


What are we then saying?


We are saying that... time is running out.
We are saying that... the Warning announced in Garabandal is not something to take lightly and that it is very close.

We are saying that... certain of the alleged events associated with the passing of Planet "X" near the Earth fit very well with the Warning and ensuing conditions on Earth.

We are saying that... it is more important to get one´s spiritual life in order and in harmony with God than to buy into survival equipment. We have already indicated what would be a good preparation procedure as well as what the personnel of xxxx has done in the way of relocation.

We are saying that... before the Warning occurs there will be a worldwide Nuclear Holocaust.

Every freaking science textbook written from 1970 through 1992 that talks about where humans came from says, “Neanderthals were our distant ancestors.” Not some of them, ALL OF THEM! I'm only about 2 or 3 weeks into reading stuff about Planet X. Guess I'm a day late.:lol Never heard of these things. Sounds all very possible, but though I am not from Missouri, I still feel that I need to read more and see more facts before coming to any conclusions. When we look to the past for clues we might or might not find them, and much of what's out there in the past is open to interpretation and argument.
