Reading the email I've copied below made me realize how helpful it could be to keep a running thread going for posting various pieces of information that don't really fit into threads discussing current events. As a city dweller, my special interest is 'HEADS UP' type rumors or observations that can help us see bigger picture & if bugging out appears imminent! Should we run a new thread for this purpose daily like Mutter does her MidEast threads? Please be sure to add url links for cross-posts from other sites!

Would like to add that here in West Ft Worth most morning/ early afternoon, there was a loud roar above dense cloud cover & showers with occasional distant rumbling that was different - never heard anything like this before & have lived here long time near Reserve Air Base. Sounded like huge engines flying overhead but deep rumbles & muffled booms were WEIRD --- definitely NOT thunder or breaking sound barrier - know that sound too well. Relative that lives about 15 miles further west called wanting to know if the US had been attacked as was also experiencing same sounds out in countryside. I was wondering same thing!

Maybe what we heard was really the National Missile Defense Program already in action - seems to be unusual cloud cover covering the skies around here almost every day that is supposed to be sunny & clear ... hmmmm?

OK, now you have my undivided attention. Here in the Dayton, Ohio area we've had thick cloud cover and fog all day. This morning about 10:30 AM EST all of us at work heard muffled booms and rumbles, about once every thirty seconds for several minutes. People even called them to each other's attention, trying to identify the sounds, and remarking that they sounded unfamiliar. Not thunder, not sonic booms, not jets kicking into AB. Reminded me of the sound of EOD guys blowing up unexploded munitions about half a mile away. Any others hear this type of activity in your neck of the woods?

Wow, is this ever strange... NC had fog and I too heard booms which didn't sound "right" to my ears either...
In fact, I got up several times, and didn't see anything which could result in such booms.

wow .. here in upstate ny we've had unusual amounts of fog for 2,3 days now. no booms thank goodness.

all the reports i'm reading about fog ... gives me the creeps!

I heard several loud sounds here, too, that I thought sounded like thunder. It has been cloudy and drizzling all day, but definitely NOT thunderstorm weather, so I don't know what they were. I don't remember what time I heard them, but it had to've been this morning as my husband hadn't left for work yet (he left around 12:30 pm). I'm in central NH, and rural, and I don't think there are any military bases any closer than Massachusetts or NY.

I heard explosions last week... Called the cops.

Turns out it was explsoives training. I figured OK since I live by the Former Fort Ord, But the cops said it was not training by troops but by the FBI. They have a training center up there now.

Cops acted like I was the 10,000th caller and they were flustered about me calling.

We've had the fog too as it is all over the SE. Occasionally we hear "thunder sounds" but it is not storming.

One other thing we have noticed is our lights go out three times this week in the morning each time. Only for a minute or two but that is more than they usually go out in a year. It is all over town not just our street. I was in town approx. 8 am this morning and the whole town went down including traffic lights. My daughter was at school a couple of miles out of downtown and she said their lights went out too.

well , we were overcast here today.. haven't heard any thunder or noises, but my power has been flickering all week, butOnly went out once for about a minute.

I've been wondering just what a typical
bio-attack scenario might look like to
the average worker drone like myself.

At what point would TPTB actually tell us
what was up? Or would they? I do not trust
the local PTB at all. They are notorious
for being ultra-PC and avoiding anything
that has even a whiff of the practical or
the prudent.
They find disaster preparedness to be
esthetically displeasing I could almost
guarantee that a terrorist attack with
bioweapons would be downplayed and "discussed"
and any announcement delayed until the

Amazing about the loud sounds everybody is hearing! It was foggy here in central Arkansas last night, and I heard a huge boom that caused me to go to the window and look out. Since I'm staying in a hotel near the freeway, I thought maybe there had been an accident. But it sounded strange, not like an auto accident would. More like a hollow boom, like dropping a huge empty can on the pavement. Weird that others are hearing possibly similar sounds around the country.

Great post. Thanks for putting up Kent's e-mail. About a continuing "rumors" or "brink" thread, or a "bug-out?" thread: I think we're better off isolating individual rumors into threads where their substance can be treated discreetly and thoroughly .... without one rumor or insider story running into another unless deliberately cross-linked.

At this point, seems to me the entire BOARD is almost the equivalent of a continuation thread addressing "ON THE BRINK". Since I think we all have deep misgivings about the status of things now; and since matters themselves are getting pretty regularly terrifying, and since we're all keyed in, good info is coming fast and furious. Seems to me that to try to consolidate or categorize various events in a continuation thread of that sort might"distort" the facts and compromise getting thing ssorted out as we habitual do .. or don't :^) That's my take anyhoo.

There's one or two folks who've posted on this thread that may be able to shed light on -- or debunk -- this idea.

The booms may be coming from things with wings which are still black projects. Some of those things go back 20-30 years now, such as the Blackbirds. Others are far more cutting edge.

Take sounds from extremely powerful engines, muffle and modify 'em through a fog layer. As for the booms, none of the things I have in mind are exactly slow. Several might smoke by a Blackbird at full hum.
Never have heard a sonic boom from very high altitude that I know of, so anyone who has might be able to shed some light on that idea.

With that still-evolving situation in and around India on top of Israel and the ME and with China running new exercises and playing with new toys and with North Korea sounding frisky yet again...yeah, it's a tad tense.

Gonna give voice to that we need to be watching for news on new deployments and significant redeployments of all kinds of assets in the coming days. Significant assets.
We need to be watching the ME as well as Africa for destinations, with the Far East being a lesser destination. That is, if I'm reading the twigs correctly.

There is one distint possibility. And that is the 'rumored' air craft that use a 'pulsed' thrust (ram jet principal).

Out in the south west; there are several instances of aircraft which emitted a pulsing roar and intermitant(sp) vapor trail(s)..]

These craft move at very high (extreem) speeds; if one is fortunate enough to 'see' one of them fly over. FWIW.

We have had dense fog and drizzle here for the last 3 or 4 days.
Haven't seen that in a good while.Also been seeing planes with guns mounted on the sides go over the last couple of days.
Very low just over the tree tops.I live close to a tiny landing strip.
Some type of training in the area.Can see parachutes in a far distance at times.

Just found another indicator of how po'ed the Indians are -- they've acused the Chinese (Huawei Technologies, specifically) of developing elint stuff for the Taliban <i>in India</i>. They're may be kicking some 150+ Huawei employees out asap. Whew!

Here in So Cal I've noticed some pretty interesting contrails lately and "planes" at high alt moving at really high speeds.

The contrails have obvious puff patters...as in PUFF...contrail...PUFF...contrail...PUFF...contrail. Now that I have access to a digital camera I'll see if I can get a couple of shots.

One thing I realized the other day is I rarely (if ever) here sonic booms here in So Cal. Yet, these planes are going incredibly fast. Kinda weird.

Living here in So Cal as I do, I'm sure that the Blackbird made many test flights over the area before it was ever public. I agree that the test schedule for that kind of technology MUST have been ramped up a bit at a minimum. And given the history of the Black...i wouldn't be surprised if there is not actually new technology flying around our skies keeping watch over our own boarders, etc. at this time.

As to India, the ME, etc...looks like the pot has just hit rolling boil, eh?

Bioatack scenario

Several possibilities Chairborne, for a bioattack scenario... in the first case, a line laydown of a biogent. Look for a plane around dusk in light winds, plane upwind of city. It would be between 1000-2000 feet; any higher & the agent disperses to too little a concentration to be effective. Anyhow, one or two passes by one or two planes. Then within 2-10 days, depending on the agent used, people start getting sick.

An attack in a subway system or other mass transit system would most likely involve breaking a container or very light powder in a crowd. Again, people start geting ill within 2-10 days.

In both scenarios, few people might notice abything at all. Fist indications would be people comng into emergency rooms or calling their doctors; initially ne ot two cases, but within24-48 hours, quite a number.

Depending on the agent, realization of what's going down could be very fast or take a few days. A lot would depend on specific symptoms & how alert medical staff and/or other first respnders would be to symptoms.

Doubt the powers that be could keep a lid on it very long - people talk. Emergency room staff, hospital security guards, janitors etc. would notice the increased action, the heightened tension & the rumors would start. What authorities CHOOSE to say intitially though is anybody's guess...

I've read on other posts that the spraying would happen at night as the sun would seem to kill it during the day. This makes me think that whatever they sprayed in the night would be dead shortly after the sun came up the next day. As a result of that I think one good thing to do would to turn off your centeral heat or air at night. This way you would not be drawing anything into your house during the night. If you need heat then get a little electric heater or something that does not suck air in from outside.

We use an electric heater anyway so hope it will help us should they spray our area.

ditto...ditto...fog..booms...atlanta...three days...SOLID FOG..with occasional roaring jets that are very close to ground but NOT VISIBLE. The fOG IS ARTIFICIAL. And the climate is tropical..caulk that I squirted out three days ago is still FRESH and NO SIGNS OF DRYING.

That was awhile back; he stated flatly and not long ago that our weather was being modified bigtime. As one of the discoverers of the technologies, he ought to know.
Remember the SecDef Cohen statement in Congressional testimony in 1997 which in part said, <i>"Others [terrorists] are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes...</i>? That's not to say or to suggest that there aren't other purposes for some of the spraying.

Blow off all of the above if you feel it appropriate -- but be aware that the overunity applications of some of those sciences <i>is real</i>; overunity engines have been produced and patents have been granted. You wouldn't believe what group snarfed up one of the early engines and its underlying patents if I told you.

days of fog...strange booms that sound like and not like jets at the same time...definitely hearing jets while not being able to see any (and i am looking across the whole sky on clear days just in case the are moving super-sonic). rather eery.

actually, it sounds like the person who posted on Kent's site lives fairly close to me; we always see the 3 helicopters going to Camp David. DH even drove by their convoy one time when he got lost up above Frederick this past summer.
