I get Mitch Battros' (of earthchanges.tv) newsletter, and today, along with some information about meteorology becoming interested in the relationship of solar activity to weather (instead of just climate), he has this bit:

There has been a recent article running around the internet authored by the name “Sorcha Faal”. Email: sorchafaal@fastmail.fm* This person (male or female) claims to have some knowledge of Russian science research implying some connection with something called Russian Academy of Sciences. From what I can gather, I’m not sure if this so-called Russian Academy of Sciences is an acknowledged scientific body, if it exist at all. This set aside, when doing a search on this site, I put in the name Sorcha Faal with a result “Not Found”

This person has put out an article titled “Russian Military Movements towards Protected Areas Beginning” and implies (he/she) has some book “now in English”. Funny thing thou, there is not one mention of any such book, nor its title. I would say this has all the markings of a hoax.

I have sent two emails to Faal requesting a resume’ or CV (curriculum vitae) for review to set up a possible interview. To date I have not received a response.*

Need I remind us all…during this time of escalated events, there will be hoaxters coming out of the woodwork claiming some “special knowledge” and their “mission” to get the word out to the world. So I shall once again remind us all to use your gift of “discernment”. It is most important to follow “your” truth. Not mine or anyone else. Seek and you shall find. Find What?* Your Truth!

Just FYI. I don't know what to think, but I am reminded that this person is the replacement for David Booth, who seems to be mostly full of you-know-what.
 
She does reference a lot of news articles in her posts, so you can draw your own conclusions. I don't believe any person 100% when it comes to the truth.

Seriously though, it's not like Mitch is even mainstream. Frankly, I have no idea what to think of McCanney. I find his website to be nearly unreadable, so the only stuff of his I see is reposted to other places.
 
I still don't know what to think of Sorcha Faal...But I did want to mention two things. One is that I also went to the Russian Academy of Sciences page which has an 'English' version, but like so many translated pages, is incomplete as to what is translated and what is left in original language. It could be that if one did a search spelling 'Sorcha Faal' with the Russian letters, something would come up.

As to the Russian Academy of Sciences being a legit organization, plug it into a search engine and see the number of hits you get on it. I have know idea why Battros would question it's existence as an established scientific body...

Also, I don't know why he says what he says about her books. There are several available for purchase here:

Who are the hoaxters? It's a good question...I find myself wishing I had some facility with the Russian language though, it'd make Faal easier to research...
 
I try to keep an open mind about people who post information which is so debatable and difficult to verify, yet at the same time, we have seen SO many statements and predictions that haven't panned out....

That being said, my experience with Battros goes back several years. IMHO, he has delusions of grandeur and could possibly be a disinfo agent.

Sorcha Faal...we need to do more digging on here to see if we can find out if she's for real.

McCanney, well, as fascinating as what he has to say is, so far much of it is still debatable. That doesn't stop me from reading his stuff, though.... ;)

Jim McCanney does have the background in Physics I believe and taught at Cornell University for a stint. His Theoretical work on comets and such is very interesting if you have read any of his books.
 
I don't know anything about Mitch whoever he is, but just based on the articles by Sorcha Faal that I've read, I suspect her of being a Russian disinformation agent.

Mitch can just log onto Sorcha Faal's site and buy some of her books and make an informed decision, which he should have done before making a public statement.

It apperrs that Mitch has only read one of Sorcha's papers .

Why all of this he/ she stuff ?

No kidding, eh, Plant Lady? What an intelligently written, thoughtful, logical response from Sorcha Faal....whoever she may be...She may be pure psyops, but her writing is so refreshing I have to give credit where it is due.
 
I haven't decided one way or the other. But it's kind of interesting to note that the only ones 'talking this stuff up' are making money off of it (not counting the TB folks).
 
Well she handled Mr. Battros pretty well. And her site does actually have some great links.

She imo is a Communist and an expert Propagandist. This stuff she writes is for the Russian people, so Russia/China won't look so bad when they, under the guise of terrorism, strike the US, followed by an iron clentched fist, if God allows it.

Her sanctimonious tone, her scolding the west all the time for things that I see no proof that east is doing either, her out of nowhere appearance on the scene all give me pause. I think she is either a fake or propogandist, or both. 90% percent of the "research" she presents could have been put together by several folks on this site. Her strange spin that the west needs to do more and what they are doing is the great evil is the only thing mildly original. And she has gone from climate change prophetess to geopolitical doomsayer without missing a beat. Strange stuff.
