BROOKFIELD - The Waukesha Sheriff's Department has confirmed to TODAY'S TMJ4 that a shooting has happened near Brookfield Square Mall.
It occurred at around 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
Multiple witnesses tell TODAY'S TMJ4 that the shooting happened either at or near the Azana Salon and Spa, across Moorland Road from the mall.
Ambulances have gone to the scene while SWAT Team members were possibly searching for a shooter.

Authorities believe it is a "mass casualty" situation and have alerted area hospitals to handle multiple shooting victims.
Authorities are looking for the subject. He is described as a bald, black male, about 6-1' and weighting 270 pounds. The subject is from Brown Deer and driving a 2003 Black Mazda.

Brookfield - Brookfield police have confirmed that multiple people have been shot near Brookfield Square.
Multiple ambulances are at the scene. Police have not officially released any more information on the shooting.
Scanner traffic indicates that the shooter may have been dressed in military fatigues and fled from the scene in a black Mazda.
A bystander standing in the east parking lot of Brookfield Square, identified as Christopher Pfeiffer, 47, of Brookfield, said he was coming from church at Spring Creek church in Pewaukee when he pulled into the Barnes and Noble bookstore and saw a young girl running in the aisles of the parking lot.
"She was screaming, yelling, crying hysterical. She was pleading for help," said Pfeiffer said. "She kept saying, 'My mother was shot.' And she mentioned that there was a gunman. She ran into the bookstore and I followed her. But I watched her from afar."
Then he said law enforcement descended on the Azana Spa just east of Brookfield Square, where the shooting apparently occurred. The man said the young woman was barefoot and assumed she was a patron at the spa.
Another man, Paul Moll, 64, of Milwaukee, was having lunch at the Red Robin Restaurant and said he just saw police car descend on the scene. He said he noticed someone was wheeled out of the spa building in a chair. He said he heard there was an active shooter inside.
Just after noon, a Flight for Life helicopter could be seen at Brookfield Square. Police and fire units from New Berlin, Waukesha, Town of Lisbon and others were on the scene.

Froedtert Hospital officials tell CBS 58 5 people are being treated for non-critical injuries. Hospital officials are preparing for another 3 people being transported to Froedtert. The conditions of the 3 other victims are unknown.
Police describe the suspect as a black male about 6'1", with a bald head and brown eyes.
He may have been driving a 2003 Black Mazda. It is unclear if the shooter is still at large.

The reporters stated it (SWAT team entering building) had happened just prior to reporting (and frame grab) and did not want to jeopardize tactical with video showing SWAT team entering the building
Susan never does weekends so I am guessing Sue either lives in the area or was actually out shopping when the news broke.
That is her in the picture I posted.
I am very close to Brown Deer, leaving the windows open to listen for the posse.
DW is on Brown Deer Road right now, I called her and told her to be very careful driving around.
