Here's the website: THE REVELATION

Only the Prologue and 5 Chapters written so far -- I'm posting each chapter as I write it.

The aesthetics of the website make it a bit hard to read with the white font on black screen. If you go over to the right-hand column, you'll find a link to the PDFs that you can read via Google Docs.

Thank you!! At the suggestion of another reader, I'm going to break out new chapters into separate pieces so you don't have to scroll through already-read portions to find the new stuff. :) New chapter should be up this weekend!

I have read up to chapter 3 so far and I REALLY like it! And I have read almost every PAW/TEOTWAWKI story in print, but yours is right up at the top of the list of the ones I would re-read again and again! Can't wait to read the next chapter!

I started reading your wonderful story a couple of hours ago and finally had to force myself to stop when I finished chapter 3. Excellent! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Thank you! There are links over on the right-hand side where you can access the PDF on Google Docs -- much easier to read, and there's a zoom feature as well. :)

Okay, read chapters 4 & 5 and really enjoyed them. Must be nice to have that kind of money to spend on preps though. ;)

Deena, I agree that this is a great read.
You can prep, but on a smaller scale.
Store what you use, use what you store.
Take advantage of yard sales, thrift stores, couponing, and double buying.
Pre y2k a gal had a list posted on the net of how to prep for your family over a period of three months.

The first step was to do a realistic budget of what your income and out go is.
Find ways to trim even a penny off something and it does add up.
And to make your shopping list and gear it to what skill level you now have versus the ideal I can make soap after I kill me a bear and render the fat : ) level.

Thanks! As you'll see later in the story, having all the preps in the world won't make a difference if you don't have the skills to go with them.

Chapter 6 is now up. Onto # 7... (Writing is a heck of a lot more work that I thought it would be... and I snack a lot more, too. Why is that? LOL)

I appreciate your attempt to vote -- I think you're only allowed to do it once, which is how I intended it. But if it didn't work for you even once, I'm not sure what the problem is. Weird. It seems to be working. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks again!

Oh wow I just finished chapter 6 and would really like some more please. If its airborne then the wife probably already has it :( And those masks from the hardware store might not do the job. The virus could be smaller than the weave on those masks like with bird flu. I know its just a story, but its a good story and I'm concerned LOL. That is like the one scenario that I think about that I feel so powerless over. Hopefully they have some Elderberry. Write fast please lol.

This is a great story. Forget your job, let the housework slide, order a pizza that you can eat at the computer and keep on writing.

I agree with She. I read a lot of PAW and this one ranks high. Seriously, write faster. Thank you

I'm loving your story. Waiting on ch.7 . The prologue has me a little confused---Wondering when Tristan will appear in the story. was he having an appearance from an angel also.? I need MORE. (please)

wow, definitely hooked already. Read the 6 chapters tonight. Can't wait for mooooaaaaarrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

The only thing that I would ask is to split it up into paragraphs. But if you don't want to, I'm fine with that. I'll read it either way

Just finished reading chapter 7. You have a very good writing ability. Enables the reader to see what you are intending them to see. Love it and keep it coming

Thank you for ch. 7. Was a great read. A killing flu and an emp. not good for these people. Was hoping they could get the elderberry medicine for Michael. That is some good stuff to have. Now I have to wait for more......

No, I've made a couple of changes to that. I'm going to stop at the half-way point. But for those of you who have been reading up until that point, I'll give you the opportunity to read the rest for free. I won't be posting it on my website, but I'll announce it ahead of time and find some way to get it in your hands. I haven't thought that far ahead yet -- at this point I'm just trying to get it written. But I would like to publish it and make a little bit of money. I'm thinking it's going to be a trilogy, so some funds to help push that along would be helpful.

Thank you! I wish that I could have it written quickly, but unfortunately it doesn't pay the bills yet. A new chapter is up -- your best bet is to become a Google follower or subscribe to a feed so that you'll know when I post in the future (I tend to mention it here as well).
